The 'Suicide Squad' actor reveals he was advised not to star in 'Wildest Dreams' video as his agents didn't want him to be Taylor's 'toy boy.'

AceShowbiz - Scott Eastwood opens up about a story behind Taylor Swift's "Wildest Dreams" music video. According to the "Suicide Squad" actor, he was advised not to do the music video gig as his agents didn't want him to be Taylor's "toy boy."

"None of my agents wanted me to do it, actually," Scott tells PEOPLE, "They said, 'Oh, we don't want you to do that! Why would you be Taylor Swift's boy toy?' And I said, 'Why the hell not?' " Despite his agents' disapproval, he went through with the part and the music video now has over 479 million views on YouTube. The "Fury" actor adds that the filming was a "fantastic experience."

During a recent interview with HuffPost Live, Scott said Taylor was a great role model amidst her feud with Kanye West. "You look at great people like Taylor Swift, who is a fantastic role model to young women, and if I can sort of follow that path, that's a nice thing to do," he shared, "She's great, she's the best. Like I said before, she's a great role model to young women. I think there should be more artists and people who have the platform to do that, be a really positive role model in people's lives."

Prior to the release of "Wildest Dreams", the 30-year-old actor gushed over Taylor. "What an amazing time working with @taylorswift," Clint Eastwood's son wrote on Instagram, "Not only is she a rockstar. But someone I am proud to call a friend. She is a great person and those are hard to find in your life. When you do... Hold tight."
