The first trailer for the series' midseason premiere teases a comic book moment which involves Rick, who will probably perform some brutal actions.

AceShowbiz - While fans are impatiently waiting for some other "super intense" episodes of "The Walking Dead", AMC has released the first trailer for the season 6 midseason premiere. Opening with Carl (Chandler Riggs), Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and Michonne (Danai Gurira) in the front porch of a house amongst the undead, the trailer seems to indicate that everything may get worse in the second half of the season.
As the trailer continues to shows Rick and other survivors' war against the flesh-eating creatures, there is a very quick scene that looks similar to the one in the comic books. Rick is seen swinging a hatchet, but unfortunately it's not clear who the one in the other end of that swing is.
If the show will really follow Robert Kirkman's original story, [SPOILER ALERT!] the one Rick faces off against will be Jessie (Alexandra Breckenridge). In the original story, Rick chops off Jessie's arms as he wants to keep his son safe and choose his family over a temporary romance. However, it's not impossible that the TV show will be different from the source material, putting another character at the end of Rick's hatchet.
"The Walking Dead" returns with the second half of season 6 in February 2016.
