Food Network chef Cat Cora called it quits with her wife Jennifer Cora after being together for 17 years. The "Iron Chef" star filed her divorce petition on October 29 in Santa Barbara, California only a day after Jennifer submitted hers.

A custody battle is looming as Cat asks for a joint custody of their children while Jennifer wants a full physical custody. Jennifer is also seeking spousal support from Cat. They share four sons. Jennifer carried the first three and Cat bore the last one.

"It is with great sadness, that after 17 years, a tremendous amount work, careful consideration and heavy hearts, my wife and I have mutually decided to no longer remain married," Cat told E! News. "In love, there is a season, a reason and a lifetime."

"Although this is not what we ever imagined, we will always have four incredible reasons to celebrate our years together: our sons. We are forever parents to our boys and are jointly committed to raising them in a peaceful, nurturing and healthy environment."
