AceShowbiz - "The Flash" new promo for episode 5 of season 2 contains a major spoiler. An actress dressing as Dr. Light was previously spotted on the set in August despite no casting announcement of the character and there has been no word on who is playing the villain until now.
An Australian promo for the upcoming episode reveals the person behind the mask and [SPOILER ALERT!] she is no other than Earth-Two version of Linda Park. The Earth-One version of Linda, played Malese Jow, was introduced last season as Barry Allen's (Grant Gustin) love interest. In photos from the next episode, Earth-One's Linda seems to be shocked to find out who Dr. Light really is.
According to the synopsis for "The Darkness and the Light", Barry learns a new breacher, Dr. Light, has come through the portal and sets off to capture her. Jay (guest star Teddy Sears) tells Barry that Dr. Light was not a threat on Earth-2 and that Barry can reason with her. However, during a fight with The Flash, she blinds him and drops some shocking news about Zoom. Meanwhile, Barry and Patty (Shantel VanSanten) go out on a date.
Executive producer Andrew Kreisberg teased about the new episode, "It's about to go doppelganger a-go-go. Now we're really going to pick up with... the Earth-Two storyline, so there will be doppelgangers and doubles."
The new episode of "The Flash" airs Tuesday, November 3 at 8 P.M. on The CW.
