Drake is upset after Rolling Stone replaced his cover in favor of Philip Seymour Hoffman and quoted him criticizing Kanye West's raps. The rapper took to Twitter on Thursday, February 13 to set the record straight and vented his frustration over the cover change.

In a Twitter post, Drake denied dissing West in an interview for the spread. "I never commented on Yeezus for my interview portion of Rolling Stone," he wrote, as reported by New York Daily News. The magazine quoted Drake as saying, "There were some real questionable bar on there. Like that 'Swaghili' line? Come on, man. Even Fabolous wouldn't say some s**t like that."

"They also took my cover from me last minute and ran the issue," Drake tweeted. "I'm disgusted with that. RIP to Phillip Seymour Hoffman. All respect due. But the press is evil." The tweets are no longer available.

Following the incident, the rapper vowed that he would not give interviews. "I'm done doing interviews for magazines. I just want to give my music to the people. That's the only way my message gets across accurately," the 27-year-old star wrote.

Rolling Stone has released a statement in response to Drake's tweets. "We stand by our reporting," they said.
