Beyonce Knowles and husband Jay-Z reportedly have picked the person they would entrust their baby's life on. Newborn baby Blue Ivy will get talk show host Oprah Winfrey as godmother, it has been reported by MediaTakeOut.com.
Meanwhile, Jay-Z has given the honor to be the tot's godfather to his best friend, Tyran "Ty Ty" Smith. The couple reportedly wanted to make sure that Blue's godparents are not blood-related.
Blue Ivy was born earlier this month at Manhattan's Lenox Hill Hospital. Her appearance is not yet known to public but Beyonce's pal Kelly Rowland described her, "She's just more precious than a diamond. She's just so stunning. ...She's beautiful."
As a gift for Blue's birth, Oprah sent a trunk full of children books to Beyonce and Jay-Z.
