Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan has issued a nationwide alert Tuesday Nov 21st, warning that e-mailed invitations promising tickets to a Christmas taping of the "Oprah Winfrey Show" are actually a "phishing" scam by clever online criminals.
The famous special sees audience members walk away with thousands of dollars-worth of gifts. But the show, which is taped in Chicago, does not sell tickets. It only takes reservations to attend filming for free. The "fake" invitation, on the other hand, offered the opportunity to buy "VIP Guest Seat" tickets for $550 to $950. It's been nearly a year that Kirstie on Nov 7th, 2005 appeared on Oprah Winfrey's talk show, saying she was inspired by a guest who had lost 70 lbs. and went on to win a Miss Bikini America pageant. She said "You know how I said every 15 pounds I have to challenge myself? I'm thinking this would be a really good challenge. If I don't make it, I'm really sorry. You can all come over to my house and see me in a bikini. But I think that would be a grand challenge."

The realization first came up as he watched "The Oprah Winfrey Show" upon which Johnson claims "The songs are so similar that if my song was released today people would think I copied Jamie's song." Further Johnson says he copyrighted the song in 2003 and sent out a mass mailing of several of his songs in 2004. Johnson claims J-Records and Sony Records were included in the mailing. Foxx's album, in fact, was released by J-Records in December 2005.

Oprah Winfrey is Retiring

The talk show queen, Oprah Winfrey has reportedly planned to retire from her popular show, The Oprah Winfrey Show, as soon as her contract is over.
This rumor has been strengthen by The New York Post report in which Oprah told TV executives at a Las Vegas party that she's going to end the show at the time her contract expires in 2011. Yet, there haven't any furher explanation on her reason of retirement which will keep us asking why???
