The 'Kourtney and Kim Take New York' star shares her outlook for the New Year as she bade goodbye to 2011, which saw her divorcing husband of 72 days, Kris Humphries, in Las Vegas.
Kim Kardashian welcomes the New Year with a positive attitude. Having had her lows in 2011 with the filing of divorce from husband Kris Humphries after only 72 days of marriage, the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star is looking forward to "moving forward and not looking back."
Met at Tao Nightclub in Las Vegas on New Year's Eve, the 31-year-old told Us Weekly, "I think a good lesson I learned about myself is to always follow your heart, and I think I'll never stop doing that." She added, "[I'm looking forward to] just having a really good 2012 and soaking in all the lessons learned in 2011. That's it. Simple."
During the chat, the younger sister of Kourtney Kardashian opened up that she "moved into [her] mom's house [in L.A]" after she filed for divorce from Kris on October 31. She further explained, "I didn't wear a stitch of makeup. I really enjoyed that. But, it's fun to get all dressed up and glommed up again for tonight."
On Sunday, January 1, Kim took to Twitter to share her thought over the New Year. "Who else is soooo ready to let go of 2011 and have the best 2012 ever!" she first tweeted. She the added, "Funny how people look 4 a fresh start in the New Year but the truth is its just an excuse! U can start fresh & set goals any day of the year."
