AceShowbiz - All eyes are on the 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards on Sunday night, September 18 as a bunch of high profile celebrities are dressed to impress when walking down the red carpet rolled out in front of the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles. Among those who come in style to the prize-giving event were Nina Dobrev and Lea Michele.
Both of the two TV stars wore red floor-length dresses for the occasion. The Katherine/Elena of "The Vampire Diaries" looks stunning in red Donna Karan Resort 2012 gown with silver Neil Lane necklace and clutch. The Rachel Berry of "Glee", meanwhile, opted for a Marchesa gown with a cowl back and rosette details on the shoulders. She finished off her look with a large cocktail ring and Roger Vivier pumps.
Also wearing red to the star-studded gala include Kate Winslet and Kerry Washington. The actress who plays the titular character in "Mildred Pierce" shows off some cleavage in a simple-cut V-plunging dress, while the Alicia Masters of "Fantastic Four" chose a Zuhair Murad cherry-red strapless gown with a silk tulle skirt and red pearls.
In addition to the red hot color, some coral dresses also light up the event. Sofia Vergara opted for a custom Vera Wang coral one-shouldered gown with chiffon draping and tumbled tulle. Sarah Hyland also wore similar clothing, looking gorgeous in a custom Christian Siriano coral-pink gown with antique beaded belt.
The other celebrities coming to the event in bright color include Cobie Smulders and Katie Holmes. The "How I Met Your Mother" star dazzles in a turquoise Alberta Ferreti dress, while the wife of Tom Cruise strikes a pose for photographers in a Calvin Klein Collection by Francisco Costa blue dress.
Wearing softer colors are Jane Lynch and Kelly Osbourne. The former went with a custom David Meister Signature deep-maroon strapless gown, while the latter is dressed in one-shouldered gown in similar color.
Gwyneth Paltrow bares her midriff in a black Emilio Pucci top and skirt, Evan Rachel Wood looks radiant in a Elie Saab Fall 2011 gown, and Claire Danes wears a Oscar de la Renta sequins dress. Julia Stiles flaunts her figure in a Georges Hobeika gown with detailed bodice, and Jayma Mays rocks a cute Zuhair Murad light-pink ensemble.
