Julia Stiles is single and available as it's been reported that she has split from boyfriend of two years, painter and sculptor Jonathan James Cramer. They are citing "irreconcilable differences" for the break-up, New York gossip column PageSix reports.
Allegedly, the break up affects the actress in bad ways. It reportedly sent her into "foul mood" that she lashed out at fans in Cafe Frida, New York who she thought were taking snaps of her. According to PageSix, Stiles mistakenly assumed a group of diners, who were taking photographs of each other, to have taken photographs of her.
Julia Stiles Rings the "Bell"

Finally turning back into drama genre, Julia Stiles is poised to topline "The Bell Jar" which she will also produce for New York-based company Plum Pictures, Variety has reported.
Based on Sylvia Plath's semi-autobiographical novel, the picture will see Stiles play Esther Greenwood, a young reporter who aims to make a name for herself in New York but later becomes increasingly depressed and moves back to Boston. As her mental state spirals, she afterwards makes several attempts to take her own life, including swallowing a lot of sleeping pills.

It's been some time since Julia Stiles was heard to make her directorial debut in a short feature titled "Raving" of which script she also wrote. Good news is that the trailer for the drama is now available on the web at http://raving.elle.com.
Inspired by a feature in ELLE's October Personal Style issue, the picture not only marks Stiles' venture into directing field but the beginning of ELLE's foray into original branded entertainment as well. Starring well-known names like Zooey Deschanel and Bill Irwin, it explores the emotional connection between a bright, rebellious young woman and a lonely, disassociated older man after a chance encounter on a New York street corner.

Though reports suggest otherwise, it is already confirmed that Gael Garcia Bernal isn't sign on to star in the highly anticipated "The Bourne Ultimatum".
Not without reason, but the Mexican actor, who previously was offered the chance to play the nemesis in the action, drama, thriller flick, was unable to take the role as he is still busy working on his directorial debut "Deficit."

The actress has joined forces with Elle magazine to make her directorial debut. Her first project will be the short movie "Raving", based on a story in the magazine's October "Personal Style" issue titled "The Dress That Changed My Life."
