AceShowbiz - It is now made official that a new guidette will join "Jersey Shore" in the third season. On Friday, August 6, MTV announced that Deena Nicole Cortese will be the gang's newest member who has joined the filming in Seaside Heights, New Jersey.
As previously reported, Deena is a long-time friend of Snooki and like the pint-sized guidette, Deena also finds pleasure in partying. "I bring a lot of energy to the house," Deena told Associated Press at the Friday meeting of Television Critics Association tour. "All I want to do is play games and have a good time." She added to fit in the profile, "I party."
There was a rumor that Deena actually is a season 1 reject. According to TMZ, she auditioned for a spot on season one of the MTV reality series, but failed to make the cut. Her audition tape reportedly contains her using the F word a lot and referring to herself as "a feisty bitch".
Angelina from season 1 was the one who made the cut but she dropped out at the end of season one and returned briefly in season 2. She finally quit for good, reasoning that the working condition in the show "sucks".
