Oprah Winfrey has proudly sit at the top of Forbes magazine's World's Most Powerful Celebrities annual list, which was compiled from June 2009 to June 2010. The talk show host, who knocked Angelina Jolie off the top spot, managed to score 315 million dollars from her media empire.
Following Oprah on the list is "If I Were a Boy" hitmaker Beyonce Knowles. The 28-year-old singer climbs from fourth spot in 2009 to second place with earnings of 87 million dollars for her showbiz career and fashion empire. Director James Cameron enters the chart at number three with earnings of 210 million dollars following his success with "Avatar".
Lady GaGa, in the meantime, is the highest new entry on the list at number four. With her huge success in music industry, the "Poker Face" hitmaker earned 62 million dollars over the last year. The top 5 is rounded up by professional golfer Tiger Woods, who pulled in 105 million dollars.
Britney Spears, U2, Sandra Bullock, Johnny Depp and Madonna appear on top ten of the list. According to Forbes, the top rankings are based on income over the past 12 months, as well as web references, press clippings, broadcast mentions and major magazine covers devoted to the celebrity.

any thing beyonce touches turn gold
I see Forbes just calls it the celebrity 100 this year as this list has no relation to anything solid. Like the ability to get a movie made, fill an arena, or get a friend a job, or how many people owe their jobs to you. A silly list this year.
