Rihanna to Perform at 2009 American Music Awards

Rihanna is rumored to have been added to 2009 AMAs performers line-up, joining Jay-Z, Adam Lambert and Alicia Keys among others.

AceShowbiz - Rihanna is going to visit 2009 American Music Awards and sing at the annual event, according to Rap-Up. However, the publication didn't mention anything about what song she will deliver at the forthcoming show. Official statement regarding the report is also yet to be made by either AMAs or Rihanna's camp.

American Music Awards will take its 37th annual celebration to Los Angeles' Nokia Theater on November 22. Joining Rihanna in the performers ensemble are Jay-Z, Alicia Keys, Black Eyed Peas, Jennifer Lopez and Adam Lambert. The show will be aired live as a three-hour primetime special on ABC.

One day after the AMAs ceremony, Rihanna will once again perform for ABC, this time to entertain its "Good Morning America" audience. The GMA performance is aimed to celebrate the release of her new album "Rated R". Not stopping only on giving live performances, Rihanna will also partner with ABC to premiere a music video for her fresh single "Russian Roulette" during its primetime hour on November 6.
