This year's MTV Video Music Awards is still going on with a bunch of A-list celebrities and singers attending the event for either appearances or performances. The latest musicians who took home awards at the show were rapper Eminem and dance queen Lady GaGa.
Eminem collected a prize for Best Hip-Hop Video which was presented by Jennifer Lopez. In this category, the Slim Shady pushed aside such contenders as Flo Rida, Kanye West, Asher Roth and Jay-Z. "This one's for you Homey," he said during his acceptance speech.
Lady GaGa, meanwhile, was named Best New Artist. When taking the mic for some speech, she took off the red lace mask which covered her face and thanked her fans. The award was for "God and the gays", so she concluded.
