Celine Dion's dream to have more kids comes true as her representative has confirmed that the singer is pregnant with another baby. "We can confirm she is pregnant," her Canadian publicist told Gossip Cop on Tuesday, August 18.
"She just found out yesterday", the publicist went on revealing, adding to Gossip Cop that Celine and her husband Rene Angelil "are very happy" with the upcoming addition to their family. Celine is due to give birth May next year.
Celine Dion has been married to Rene Angelil since December 1994. The pair already has an eight-year-old son, named Rene Charles Angelil, who was conceived by in vitro fertilization after six years of trying.
Back in December last year, Celine has publicly talked about extending her family. In an interview with Julie Chen of CBS' "Early Show", she admitted that in order to expand their clan she and Rene were having "a frozen embryo."
"I started to talk to Rene Charles about it. He said 'Can we have four and five?' " Celine stated at that time. "So if we're blessed again, I will be very happy to come back and do another interview with you and talk about it. I will be the first one to be extremely happy."
