Concurring with Rene, Celine's U.S.-based publicist, Kim Jakwerth, explains Wednesday, November 11 that doctor had initially confirmed a pregnancy in August through in vitro fertilization. And the information was quick to make its way all over the media, forcing Celine to go public with a confirmation. Unfortunately, days later, she found out the embryo had not been implanted successfully.

Off from her three-years contract with Caesar's Palace, Celine Dion is set to kick off in a 2008 worldwide tour. The singer will begin her itinerary in Johannesburg, South Africa which also marks her first gig in the country.
The Johannesburg's concert is set at Coca-Cola Dome on February 14. Leaving the town she will then head to the country's capital city Pretoria on February 16 to 17. The pop diva was forced to cancel nearly a week's worth of gigs in April due to a rare ear disease called labyrinthitis, an inflammation of the inner ear often accompanied by an impaired sense of balance.
It is said that Celine refused medication that could dry out her vocal cords, despite being told it could take her up to a year to heal. Kwon, who is a Pasadena-based Presbyterian minister, could actually end up to 12 years in jail and face deportation back to his native South Korea.
However, District Court Judge Jackie Glass has been so kind-hearted to Kwon that he, on Thursday, sentenced Kwon into only a minimum of 28 months in prison and did not require him to pay restitution. Kwon's attorney Lisa Rasmussen, on the contrary, didn't satisfy with the decision and planned to appeal, claiming she was never allowed to question Angelil on the witness stand about the alleged rape incident.
