An alternate version of famous television host Larry King will appear in Jon Favreau's sequel of 'Iron Man' in form of former president and chairman of Marvel Comics, Stan Lee.

AceShowbiz - The lingering question of what part Iron Man creator Stan Lee will have in "Iron Man 2" has been answered. Nuke the Fridge broke the news that the former president and chairman of Marvel Comics will be making a cameo appearance as an alternate world version of Emmy Award-winning television host Larry King.

As the Iron Man world's Larry King, the 86-year-old is set to interview Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark on his show "Larry King Live". Lee, who is also the co-creator of Spider-Man, the Fantastic Four, the X-Men and the Hulk, will be having a Q&A session with the genius engineer, discussing about Stark's new, modified "black" Iron Man suit. There are yet words from either Lee or Marvel Studios regarding the report.

Aside from Stan Lee, "Iron Man 2" will see the return of Gwyneth Paltrow as Pepper Potts and the replacement of Terrence Howard with Don Cheadle for Col. James 'Rhodey' Rhodes. Mickey Rourke and Samuel L. Jackson also join the cast. Set for May 7, 2010 U.S. release, the sequel to blockbuster hit "Iron Man" is directed by Jon Favreau using the script written by "Tropic Thunder" co-scribbler Justin Theroux.
