AceShowbiz - The first real photo of "Clash of the Titans" has been discovered. The newly-found picture exposes Sam Worthington as Perseus in the remake to the 1981 Greek mythology film. Displaying the actor in a battle mode with a sword and shield on his hands, the grainy image is said to be scanned from the latest issue of Empire magazine.

Perseus is the main character in this modern version of "Clash of the Titans". Helpless to save his family from Hades, he volunteers to lead a mission to defeat the vengeful god of the underworld before Hades can seize power from Zeus and unleash hell on earth. Now, in command of a band of warriors, he embarks on a perilous journey deep into forbidden worlds and battles unholy demons and fearsome beasts.

The action fantasy movie itself has been set to be directed by the man behind "The Transporter 2" and 2008's "The Incredible Hulk", Louis Leterrier. In addition to Sam Worthington, it stars among others Gemma Arterton, Liam Neeson, Ralph Fiennes and Alexa Davalos. The Warner Bros. Pictures film is expected to hit U.S. theaters on March 26, 2010.
