While Miley Cyrus herself has not yet commented on the harsh remark that Jamie Foxx made for her during a recent broadcast of his Sirius radio show "The Foxxhole", her father Billy Ray Cyrus reportedly is upset by the actor-singer's conduct. "He thinks Jamie was out of line and didn't find any humor in it," a source close to Cyrus family tells E! News' Marc Malkin. "He doesn't understand why he would do that to Miley especially since he has teenage daughter himself."
And contrary to Jamie's claim that he "wasn't sure who Miley was," the source says both stars know each other. They, as claimed by the source, met at the "Kids' Inaugural: We Are the Future Concert." The source, moreover, states that Miley and her family have "always been fans of Jamie, especially after meeting him. That's why it's even more disappointing," adding that, "To say he didn't know who Miley was doesn't make sense."
Meanwhile, a representative for Miley and her family declines to comment on the existing controversy. "Billy Ray isn't going to say anything publicly because he doesn't want to this to escalate," the same source tells E! News. "He wishes it would just go away."
No words have been made by Jamie himself regarding his negative remark on Miley. His representative also makes no direct comment on that matter, saying Jamie plans on releasing a statement soon.
