E! Online's Marc Malkin has made public a new report by the hour, claiming on-again and off-again lovers Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer may have ended their love relationship. Marc says he's been informed by a source that the celebrity pair broke-up sometime within the last week after the movie beauty returned to the U.S. following a tour to Europe to promote her new big screen project, comedy movie "Marley & Me".
Representative for Aniston has not yet given immediate comment on the split report. A representative for Mayer, meanwhile, declines to comment on the singer's personal life, E! News confirms.
News of Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer breaking up comes in the wake of Internet reports claiming he has shopped for an engagement ring for her. Britain's Daily Mirror wrote that Mayer approached jeweler Lorraine Schwartz to design a vintage-style classic ring with an 18-carat flawless diamond, which he would later on present to Aniston when he proposed to her. The ring-shopping claim has since been denied by Schwartz's office though.
Most recently, Aniston was spotted on Monday, March 9, enjoying some food at the Terrace restaurant. She is expected to fly to New York City in the spring to shoot her new movie "The Baster." Mayer, in the meantime, is said to be in the recording studio, working on a new album.

John Mayer is a first class A #1 jerk! And I can say this first hand after seeing him and communicating with him at the Ritz Carlton in Atlanta. He is SO full of himself. I was upset and dismayed that Jennifer Aniston would ever give him even 1 chance, much less another. I am so hopeful that they have REALLY broken up now. From what I know of her, she deserves much better than that .....JERK!
Jen Aniston won't ever recover from Brad's loss. Who could? She just needed somebody to don't look too pathetic, and being John Mayer (talented guy, though) the publicity whore we all know, they both had their revenue in being together, as media interest raised about both. But real love and longlasting relationship, camon... that was from day one a completely different matter.
They should have stayed broken-up the first time.
