Madonna may not be seen in "New Moon" after all. Citing on a source close to the production, Entertainment Weekly reported contrary to the circulating rumors suggesting that Madonna will make an appearance in the"Twilight" sequel, Summit Entertainment have no plans in bringing the "Evita" star into the project.
Though slamming the casting rumor, the trade hinted on the possibility of her making a contribution to the sequel's soundtrack. "However, because Madonna's manager, Guy Oseary, is a producer on the project, there is some talk of her providing songs for the sequel," EW's report read. Still, it should be noted that no deals have been set in stone so far on the matter.
An adaptation to Stephenie Meyer's second novel of her "Twilight" series, "New Moon" will be directed by Chris Weitz and penned by Melissa Rosenberg. To see the return of Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Ashley Greene, Taylor Lautner and other original stars, it will be filmed in mid-March in Vancouver before moving to Italy in May.
This sequel will revolve around Bella Swan as she deals with her personal conflicts following Edward Cullen's abrupt departure. In it, Bella's loyalty to the vampire will be put into test when her friendship with Jacob Black grows. The second romantic vampire drama is scheduled for November 20 U.S. release.

Madonna is more experienced in media, experience is everything, which is why shes more well known and successful than muse. Shes also acted in a few movies, so im sure she knows how it works. If shes that successful, im sure pop music isnt the ONLY music she can write. To be that successful you have to be able to write and sing a variety of different styles of music. She wouldnt have got there unless she could.
please don't put muse on new moon,please oh please...muse is far better than this series and the story had already stained one, SMBH, please don't touch the other songs!><

Dont you dare put Jonas Bros into New Moon. They already destroyed the world with their crap, dont let it ruin another good thing! I dont really care about Madonna, Jonas Bros are my main concern!
Twilight was awful, man I miss James, and I would hate to add to what could be a turn around for them, by messing up with adding Madonna of all things. It hurt to sit through the 1st please don't let the 2nd one!
I personally think Madonna shouldn't be on the soundtrack. Same with Jonas Brothers. Miley and Ray shouldn't either. Put more Paramore on the next soundtrack too!

Please do not let a really amazing casting and amazing tracklist of The Twilight film/ soundtrack be overshadowed by money and has been old 1980's stars(Madonna) in the industry jumping on the bandwagon to sully the production of New Moon. Please give new talent a chance as you did with the first film.
i tink madonna should not be in the movie simply because she already has her own kingdom to run. it's nice that "twilight" was a hit. it has its own dominion. i love madonna but they simply won't mix.

Use the HP films as an example, talent, story, and the music that inspired it. That means no Madonna and no Disney crap. If they go that route, they risk turning the Twilight franchise into High School Musical, practically a CRIME. That would be sad, and honestly, make me want to throw up a little.

Madonna's contributed many great songs to movie soundtracks. She can do dark stuff too (Frozen, Live To Tell....). I definitely would buy the song from her, but not the soundtrack. No one but teeny boppers buys albums anymore anyway.

If you put Madonna or JB on the soundtrack...well then you just lost a fan and a supporter and I'm sure I won't be the only one who will walk away from the Twilight series. But it will break my heart.

She's gonna kill new moon. Jonas brother are too. Both of them will kill the soundtrack so badly and I think the movie won't be in the top just because of them. I hope who ever is making a desicion should think first because madonna and jonas brothers are not fit on new moon.
They never said Hilary Duff was involved with this. Hilary Duff would think to check this Twilight stuff out twice, or more, before involving herself with it. In part because Hilary Duff is the real article.
