Movie

In a new clip from 'Up', Russell complains that he is tired and has to go to the bathroom when Carl forces him to keep going, but coming across a bug, he quickly gets distracted and leaves Carl.

AceShowbiz - During Sony's 2009 CES Keynote, a snippet from Pixar's forthcoming animation "Up" has been screened and the clip has finally made its round via Sony Insider. The exclusive one-minute footage displays the scene where Carl Fredricksen and Russell make their way through a jungle, dragging along the floating house with rope tied on their back.

The clip begins with a far shot of Carl's house floating forward amidst dense trees. When the shot moves forward to the two main characters, it can be seen that Russell is complaining to Carl, telling him that he is tired and has to go to the bathroom. But, as Russell spots a bug, he soon gets distracted and leaves Carl tied to the house alone.

An animation adventure comedy from "Monsters, Inc." director Pete Docter, "Up" revolves around Carl Fredricksen, a 78-year-old balloon salesman who fulfills his lifelong dream of a great adventure when he ties thousands of balloons to his house and flies away to the wilds of South America. But, his adventure is disrupted when he finds out that an unwanted guest incidentally joins the trip.

Filling the voice of Carl and Russell are Edward Asner and Jordan Nagai respectively. They are supported by other voice talents, including Christopher Plummer, John Ratzenberger and Paul Eiding. The animation movie written and co-directed by Bob Peterson is set for U.S. release on May 29.
