'Lost' Coming to an End May 23

Backing up Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof's statement during "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" about the end of "Lost", ABC President Stephen McPherson announced on Wednesday, February 3 that the last episode of season 6 will air on Sunday, May 23. The sci-fi series will wrap up in a two-hour finale starting at 8/7c.

"Lost" kicked off the sixth and final season on Tuesday also with a two-hour event. It absorbed 12.1 million viewers and dominated adults-18-to-49 demographic between 9/8c to 11/10c. It was ABC's best two-hour performance since November 2007.

Nina Dobrev Criticized by 'Vampire Diaries' Fans for Not Being Blonde

Actress Nina Dobrev has incurred the wrath of "The Vampire Diaries" fans - for sporting a different hair color to her character in the original book. The 21 year old plays lead Elena in the new U.S. series and was told by show executives to keep her hair brunette for the role.

But fans of the novels, penned by L. J. Smith, are in uproar - because Elena is a blonde in the books. Dobrev explains, "I couldn't go online because everyone was like, 'She's not a blonde, Elena's a blonde'. We had to change it because in the books Elena was a little bit more of a Queen Bee, the popular high school girl and it just didn't seem relatable to a lot of people."

Vanessa Williams Furious Over 'Ugly Betty' Cancellation

Vanessa Williams is angry at U.S. TV bosses for axing her hit comedy "Ugly Betty", insisting the cast is "devastated" by the news. The U.S. version of the series turned Emmy winner America Ferrera into a household name after it debuted in 2006.

But ABC executives announced last month the series' current fourth season will be its last. And Williams is outraged programming bosses have scrapped the show just a year after uprooting the cast and crew from Los Angeles to film in New York. She also blames them for failing to give the show a regular time slot for fans to follow.

'The Good Wife' 1.14 Preview: High Hopes

"The Good Wife" returns next week with the trial and the ultimate question whether Peter sleeps with Amber Madison while his wife is away. As Alicia defends a husband accused of murdering the babysitter, she and her family prepare for the outcome of Peter's appeal and his possible homecoming. Called "High Hopes", the episode is slated to air on February 9.

"One of the reasons we made it about state attorney in Chicago, because we wanted her job, her return to the workplace to have an essential meaning to where her husband worked and to where her husband has the scandal," Exec Producer/Writer Robert King said. "...We will always have the tentacles of the scandal because whenever you open one door thinking you know what scandal, there will another door that you open up."

Robert Pattinson to Appear on 'Jimmy Fallon'

Robert Pattinson has a chance to finally confront Jimmy Fallon about the host's impersonation of him. A report from Gossip Cop suggested that the "Twilight" actor is made a guest in a "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" episode that will air next month.

Sources said that the Pattinson appearance is not locked yet but "it's close to a done deal". Should it reach a favorable result, Pattinson is expected to pop up either on March 1 or March 2. The dates are just right to start promoting his new film "Remember Me" where he stars opposite Emilie de Ravin. The drama will be released in U.S. theaters on March 12.

'Lost' 6.03 Preview: What Kate Does

"Lost" officially kicked off the final season on Tuesday, February 2 with the resurrection of Sayid in the Temple Tantrum that terrified the Others. Next week, it looks like Sawyer manages to escape from the Others and Kate goes after him. ABC has not released its synopsis, but it seems Kate and Sawyer will exchange words about 'caring for each other'. "What Kate Does" airs on Tuesday, February 9.

Creators Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse recently answered a few questions from People including about the dynamic between Jack, Kate, Sawyer and Juliet. Cuse said, "The romantic quadrangle with Jack, Sawyer, Kate and Juliet will be resolved," while Lindelof said, "Come on, we can't give you a spoiler about the end of the entire series! First off, you might be making an improper inference by asking, 'Is she gonna CHOOSE between Jack and Sawyer.' What if one of those guys doesn't want her?"

Bruce Willis Demonstrates His Exploding Underpants Invention

Bruce Willis gave U.S. TV audiences a late night laugh on Monday, February 1 by hawking a zany new product - a pair of "exploding underpants" that left the actor's jeans full of holes. The "Die Hard" star appeared on "Late Show with David Letterman" and showcased his invention, which was packaged in a box on [David] Letterman's desk.

But even Willis had to fight the urge to laugh when he stood up to demonstrate the bizarre underpants after they 'exploded' and left two holes below the front pockets of his trousers. He told the TV audience, "It'll liven up any party or any business meeting. Available in briefs, boxers or boxer-briefs for $19.95... Stand back and learn. When we're at the lab we like to say, '3, 2, 1!' "

'American Idol' in Denver: Jack Black Clone, Pretty Hair and Bikini Boy

"American Idol" visited Denver as the last stop in the audition round, coming up with 26 hopefuls. The first auditioner of the day was Mark Labriola who claimed at least once a day people tell him he looks like Jack Black. Before he got to sing, Simon Cowell asked him to mention one interesting thing about him. Mark said his mother took him away from his father when he was 4, making them kind of fugitive. Simon then irritated Kara DioGuardi with his questions to Mark about the family. Nevertheless, Mark got 4 votes of yes.

Two more people earned the golden tickets through unanimous votes but it was not the case with Casey James. Victoria Adams, who is back in the judging seat, wanted him to let his hair down while Kara wanted him to unbutton his shirt. Simon said he has no charisma but the girls disagreed. It was up to Randy Jackson, who later sided on the girls.

Joe Jonas Could Be Young Tommy on 'Brothers and Sisters'

Joe Jonas scores himself a TV guest appearance. The middle of Jonas Brothers who has expressed his desire to pursue acting career will be guest starring on "Brothers & Sisters" as the young version of Tommy Walker. The character's older version is played by Balthazar Getty whom the producers thought bears a resemblance to Joe.

ABC has not confirmed the role yet but an insider told E! Online that younger Tommy is sought for two episodes that will trace back the Walkers' history. This means other young actors are coming on board the show. The names, according to sources are, Kay Panabaker as Kitty, Anna Wood as Sarah, and Kasey Campbell as Kevin.

'Doctor Who' May Invite Sophie Okonedo

Actress Sophie Okonedo is set to make a cameo in the new series of "Doctor Who", according to reports. The "Hotel Rwanda" star is said to have already filmed her scenes as mysterious character Liz Ten for the cult U.K. sci-fi series, which sees a new Time Lord, Matt Smith, take over from David Tennant later this year.

A source tells Britain's The Sun newspaper, "Getting Sophie on board is a huge coup for the BBC. The forthcoming series has been criticized for being a bit light on the big names. But the feeling is less is more. Some fans thought the Kylie Minogue Christmas episode was a bit naff (poor)."

'DWTS' Celebrity Cast to Unfold on 'Bachelor' Finale

Beside witnessing which woman finally steals "The Bachelor" Jake Pavelka's heart, there is another reason to tune in on March 1. "Dancing with the Stars" will announce the name of celebrities who will join the tenth season.

Host Tom Bergeron will unveil the line-up every now and then during the commercial breaks. This approach to reveal the cast has been used occasionally by ABC since the dating reality show is expected to draw a lot of viewers with its dramatic finale. In Fall 2009, "DWTS" partnered up with "Good Morning America" to announce the cast.

Elle MacPherson to Host 'Britain's Next Top Model'

Elle MacPherson is set to replace George Clooney's ex Lisa Snowdon as the host of UK reality show "Britain's Next Top Model". The Australian beauty has agreed to front the sixth series of the program, which follows 25 aspiring beauties competing for the Top Model crown.

And Macpherson, who earned the nickname The Body during her time as catwalk queen, will also be working behind the camera as the show's executive producer. She says, "I am really enthusiastic and motivated to work with the team of 'Britain's Next Top Model' - we are looking forward to finding the face that can represent the next generation."

On-Set Pics: 'Gossip Girl' Filming in Manhattan

Chace Crawford and Taylor Momsen were spotted back in Manhattan to film "Gossip Girl". The actors who portray Nate and Jenny respectively were photographed on the outdoor set on Monday, February 1.

Momsen, who came under fire recently for smoking in public despite being 16-year-old, was seen with a drink can on her hand. Crawford meanwhile was fresh from returning from Sundance Festival where he premiered the indie movie "Twelve" along with Emma Roberts and 50 Cent.

'Heroes' Season 4 Finale Preview

From the look of the preview, "Heroes" takes a twist of story, making Sylar no longer the villain. In the climactic season finale, everyone bands together in an effort to stop Samuel from taking the lives of thousands. Peter joins forces with his most unexpected ally to save Emma (guest star Deanne Bray).

Meanwhile, H.R.G.'s life hangs in the balance as he and Claire find themselves trapped underground with oxygen quickly running out. H.R.G. figures out that Samuel traps them together so she can watch him die. Elsewhere, Hiro starts to come to grips with the decisions he has made and is called into action to help stop a disaster.

Calista Flockhart Not Leaving 'Brothers and Sisters'

TV bosses have dismissed rumors Calista Flockhart is set to follow in Rob Lowe's footsteps by quitting hit show "Brothers & Sisters". The actor recently announced he will bid farewell to his TV family at the end of season four, which is set to air in the U.S. in February.

And after the news broke, rumors began circulating that Flockhart would be the next big name to walk away from the program. But ABC's Head Showrunner, David Marshall Grant, is adamant the actress will not be giving up her place in the series.
