Hot Fuss Boxed Set from The Killers

Following the success of their Island debut "Hot Fuss," the Las Vegas indie rock band The Killers will on November 22 release a boxed set featuring individual seven-inch vinyl singles for every track on the album. Hurry up, go and get the set soon as the package will be limited to 5,000 copies worldwide.

As of the content, each single included will be backed with a rarity or B-side. "All These Things That I've Done" features a cover of Morrissey's "Why Don't You Find Out for Yourself," while "Believe Me Natalie" includes an acoustic rendition of "Smile Like You Mean It." Also there are remixes of the hits "Somebody Told Me" and "Mr. Brightside" and the non-album cuts "The Ballad of Michael Valentine," "Under the Gun" and "Glamorous Indie Rock & Roll," which previously appeared on the expanded edition of "Hot Fuss."

Marley's Never-Before-Released Singles Collection

Years after his death, fans of reggae legend Bob Marley still have something that reminds them of him. The late singer apparently left a never-before-released song, believed to have been recorded in a Miami bedroom in 1979, which will be available on the upcoming compilation "Africa Unite: The Singles Collection."

The set, due November 8 via Island/Tuff Gong/UME, includes "Slogans," the master tape of which was discovered by Marley's sons Ziggy and Stephen in 2003. Also it will feature early recordings as well as Marley's biggest hits, which is rounded out by a new remix of the title track from the Black Eyed Peas' will.i.am plus Ashley Beedle's mash-up of "Get Up, Stand Up" and Damian Marley's "Welcome to Jamrock."

Wonder Still Has Time to Love

It's been 10 years that Stevie Wonder doesn't produce an album. Now the time has come for him to share "A Time to Love," his new album due in stores on October 18th. Speaking about the long time he needs to complete the album the singer says "I wanted it to sound contemporary but still be me. It was just a matter of getting it right."

What is so special about the album is that it contains 15 original tracks of all genres, from hip-hop, gospel to world music, with some arrangements using strings. What's more it also features some guest vocalists, like gospel artist Kim Burrell, on the anthemic "If Your Love Cannot Be Moved" with choir vocals produced by Kirk Franklin and India Arie, on the title track.

Jean & Jones Do a Charity Track

Singer Wyclef Jean teams up with Norah Jones co-wrote the lyrics for the song to benefit America's hurricane relief efforts. Titled "Any Other Day" the single includes the lines: "I see the airplane. I hear the engine on the boat. But you all can't see me waving the flag. Somebody please wave the flag."

Jones says "My heart is filled with tears for the victims and all those who have lost loved ones in Hurricane Katrina and Rita. No one can challenge mother nature. All we can do now is band together the best we can as one family and help everyone get back on their feet."

Seagal Recording a New Album

The action man is softened. He's revealing a part of him that has nothing to do with violence. Best known for his unique style of fighting in many action flicks, Steven Seagal still has a heart anyway.

The movie star reportedly is recording his first album ever, something that is very incompatible with what he's done so far. He says "Blues is my real passion, and I've always wanted to do a blues record. I've had very close relationships with a lot of the great legends, many of whom I got to play with."

With a new lead singer J.D. Fortune, who was chosen by the viewers of the CBS reality series "Rock Star: INXS," the music group repeats their previous success to be included on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. Their single "Pretty Vegas" gives the Australian-based rock act the highest debut of its career at No. 37. What an attainment.

Apart, the band is reported to keep their promise to invite "INXS: Rock Star" runner-up Marty Casey to support their upcoming US tour. Won't miss the great opportunity, Casey will take his band The Lovehammers with him on the tour. He says "Being the opening act is really the best possible scenario for me. Heart is the word that American Idol winner Carrie Underwood chooses to name her debut album. It's completely dubbed "Some Hearts" and will hit stores November 15.

The set will among others include the lead single "Jesus Take the Wheel" and her hit "Inside Your Heaven," which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. Also it covers single "What Else You Got" and "I Ain't in Checotah Anymore," which is an acknowledgement to the singer's Oklahoma hometown.

Kanye Keeps Digging the Chart

He's just too strong to be beaten by any other musicians whose singles also on the chart. Albeit many new comers entering the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart, the rapper keeps digging the first place. Kanye West's "Gold Digger" featuring Jamie Foxx still the No. 1 on the chart for a sixth week Thursday. Meanwhile, Nickelback's "Photograph" ups just one to No. 2, switching place with Mariah Carey whose "Shake It Off" downs one to No. 3.

Secures the 4th place is Black Eyed Peas' "My Humps," followed by "Like You" by Bow Wow featuring Ciara at No. 5 and Green Day's "Wake Me Up When September Ends" at No. 6. Rounding out this weekend Top 10 is Young Jeezy's "Soul Survivor" featuring Akon at No. 7, ahead of Chris Brown's "Run It!" jumps three to No. 8. Kelly Clarkson is at 9th with "Because of You" and David Banner's "Play" holds the No. 10 spot on the Hot 100.

Rush Lives in Frankurt

Rush isn't in rush to celebrate their 30th anniversary. The veteran progressive rock trio moves slow but sure. "R30 Live in Frankurt," which material is taken from their 2004 concert in Frankfurt, Germany, will be released November 22 via Rounder in the United States and Anthem in Canada; Sanctuary Visual Entertainment will issue it November 28 in Europe.

Speaking on their soon to be released album, singer/bassist Geddy Lee told Billboard.com. "Well, basically nobody was in a big hurry to do another live project, because we've got about 60,000 of them out there. But when we were touring Europe on the last tour, we hadn't been to those countries in 10 years -- some of them 20 years. And there was such an exuberant response from the crowd; it just seemed like a unique opportunity to capture the band in that kind of environment."

Madonna: "I'm Going to Tell You a Secret"

Madonna is still a phenomenon. Amid many protest raised by rabbis concerning one of her songs included in the upcoming album "Confessions on a Dance Floor," the pop diva keeps creating sensation.

It is reported that Madonna will appear on MTV's "Total Request Live" on Monday to play her single "Hung Up," which is set for an Oct. 17 release date. Also the music icon is scheduled to make her first TV appearance in support of the album on that date, when she visits MTV's "TRL" to introduce the song's music video.

Nickelback Tops Chart with the Right Reasons

Canadian rock band Nickelback has nothing but all the right reasons to top the Billboard 200 albums chart Wednesday. This is the first time for them to have such attainment in which their album "All the Right Reasons" has become their first U.S. No. 1 album, sold 317,000 copies in its debut week. Chicago rapper Twista is at 2nd with "The Day After" sold nearly 129,000 copies.

Country star Sarah Evans' "Real Fine Place" opening at No. 3, ahead of Gretchen Wilson's "All Jacked Up" which drops to No. 4 from last week's No. 1 debut. Sheryl Crow's "Wildflowers" drops three places to No. 5 with 106,000 copies in its second week, followed by Kanye West's "Late Registration" at No. 6. Entering the chart at No. 7 is Fiona Apple's "Extraordinary Machine" which has been sold for 94,000 copies.

Eminem's Curtain Call

Despite the fact that he's been reported to retire, or at the very least take an extended break from music industry, Eminem has announced plans to release "Curtain Call," a greatest hits album that will be available on December 6 world wide. It is claimed that he's been working on the album since early summer.

Per his Aftermath/Interscope label, "Curtain Call" will among others feature tracks like "My Name Is," "The Way I Am," "Lose Yourself" and "Stan" plus two new songs. About his new set, Em says "I have some songs that a lot of people like, I have some songs that only I like. This album is obviously for the 'lot' of people."
