Taylor Swift, No Doubt and Muse to Perform at 2012 MTV Europe Music Awards

The first three musical guests of the upcoming MTV Europe Music Awards have been revealed. Taylor Swift, No Doubt and Muse are confirmed to make live performances from Frankfurt, Germany on November 11.

"I've always wanted to go to the EMA, because you hear about the spectacle of it, and how everyone just goes all out for their performances. To be nominated for five EMAs was the most exciting feeling, and I was absolutely blown away. I can't wait to be there this year and perform on the show," Taylor says.

After a series of teasers, "American Horror Story: Asylum" finally shares real footage in a new promo. Promising to present a terrifying tale of fear, lust and insanity, the sneak peek offers glimpses of a creepy procedure undergone by a patient, a possible affair and terror among other scenes set inside the mental facility.

To premiere Wednesday, October 17 at 10 P.M. ET on FX, the new chapter of the Ryan Murphy-created series will feature a new story set in the 1960s at an institution for the criminally insane on the East Coast. Jessica Lange is cast as Sister Jude, who is an administrator at the asylum.

The "True Blood" artist announced the birth of her babies on September 11. She and her actor husband, Stephen Moyer, were overjoyed to have the twins. "The newborns are in good health," a representative said in a statement.

After being long-awaited, the first ever trailer for "The Lone Ranger" finally makes its round onto the web. Revealed by Armie Hammer during his visit on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" Tuesday, October 2, the video showcases fantastic visuals coming from the hand of Oscar-winning filmmaker Gore Verbinski.

Most of the scenes highlight action sequences on the railroad. Johnny Depp channels his inner Indian man as Tonto, who at one point is seen risking his life by hanging under a moving train. Plenty of stunning slow-motion action scenes are also dominating the sneak peek.

It's highly likely that "The X Factor (US)" will feature Khloe Kardashian and Mario Lopez as its co-hosts. Latest rumor says the twosome are finalizing their deals to take the hosting duty on the FOX reality series with a source telling CNN, "Those two want to do it, and the show is keen to have them."

While the network hasn't commented on any casting reports, it's believed that the official announcement will be made later this week. The wife of Lamar Odom and the former "Dancing with the Stars" contestant are expected to make their first appearance on the singing competition in early November when the live shows begin.

John Legend Delays Tour and New Album Release

Fans of John Legend must wait a little longer before their idol releases his new album "Love in the Future" and gets back on the road for a tour. The "Ordinary People" singer announced the bad news on his official site, explaining that he hasn't finished working on the Kanye West-produced album so he must postpone his tour which was originally set to kick off this fall.

Stating that he couldn't finish the album "in time" as planned, Legend said, "Unfortunately, while the creative process has been exciting and I'm pretty certain we're going to deliver the best album of my career so far, the timing hasn't adhered to the schedule I originally envisioned." He added, "In other words, we're not done with the album."

MTV will throw its annual Movie Awards show sooner than its usual schedule for next year. The company confirms that it has moved up the 2013 Movie Awards to early summer despite the fact that the prize-giving event usually takes place around June or July.

The channel officially announces that next year's Movie Awards will broadcast live on Sunday, April 14. It says that the decision to air the show in April is taken to ensure "the blockbusters and gut-busting comedies of 2012 won't be forgotten."

The result was 87% higher than the $626,000 gross for "Breaking Dawn I" first-day advance ticket sales last year. TV stars Melanie Lynskey and Jimmi Simpson have decided to end their marriage in a divorce. The "Two and a Half Men" actress filed for divorce from her "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" actor husband on September 25 after five years of marriage.

The divorce papers, which were filed in the L.A. County Superior Court, cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason of the split. The docs, according to TMZ, also stated that both Lynskey and Simpson have waived their rights to spousal support.
