ABC Nabs New Soap From 'Desperate Housewives' Creator Marc Cherry

Marc Cherry is not going anywhere after "Desperate Housewives" ends its run this coming spring. The creator of the long-running drama comedy series has set up a new soap at ABC, which is airing the Eva Longoria-starring show.

Cherry's new project is called "Devious Maids" and revolves around four Latina housekeepers who are based in Beverly Hills. The hourlong soap itself is an adaptation of a Mexican telenovela titled "The Disorderly Maids of the Neighborhood".

Shia LaBeouf Accused of Making Throat-Slashing Gesture After Street Fight

The story of Shia LaBeouf's street fight in Vancouver, Canada continues to unravel. Shortly after a video of the "Transformers: Dark of the Moon" star being beaten to the ground surfaced, the man who tried to calm him down after the altercation came forward and claimed that the actor made a knife threat on him.

Telling his side of the story to TMZ, the man who is identified as Shea Carter said that before the beatdown, he saw LaBeouf drunkenly swaying into several patrons inside the Cinema Public House bar. When one man calmly told the 25-year-old to watch out, he replied, "Oh yea? Or what? What are you going to do about it?"

Kanye West Announces First G.O.O.D Music Album

Kanye West is going to follow the footsteps of Young Money by releasing an all-star album featuring artists from his own label. "GOODMUSIC.THE ALBUM.SPRING2012," the rap mogul tweeted the info on Wednesday, October 19.

No other details were offered, but the teaser had long been given by Kanye. When the "Heartless" rapper launched his ground-breaking music campaign "G.O.O.D Friday" last year, he dropped a bunch of songs which were crowded with featured guests like Common and John Legend.

Russell Crowe Tweets About Fighting General Zod on 'Man of Steel' Set

Russell Crowe has given some tidbits from "Man of Steel" which is currently filming in Vancouver. The actor who plays the titular character's Kryptonian father Jor-El posted some tweets about doing a fighting scene with Michael Shannon's villainous character, General Zod.

Taking to his Twitter account on Wednesday, October 19, Crowe shared that General Zod is an enemy who is very hard to defeat. He wrote, "15km bike ride, umpteen hours fighting Michael Shannon. He's very hard to put down." When a fan asked him who wins the fight, Crowe replied, "Hard to tell who wins, we are still fighting tomorrow."

"Pretty Little Liars" may kill off another character when it returns in January. A newly released promo sees Emily being worried that they were almost killed, but at another moment she contemplates about getting a revenge. The sneak peek to the winter premiere also teases a missing person and a revelation of a mysterious person's identity.

The thriller drama series is currently in hiatus since airing the August 30 episode where Jenna and Garrett confessed that they were behind Alison's death. The case is not necessarily closed as executive producer Oliver Goldstick teased, "Either 'A' piggybacked on the Jenna/Garrett of it all, or Jenna and Garrett are 'A - that's part of what we're putting out there. There's the possibility that these two - and possibly another - are 'A'."

Jon Bon Jovi is helping to fight hunger in New Jersey without the stigma of a soup kitchen. On Wednesday, October 19, the lead singer of rock band Bon Jovi opened The JBJ Soul Kitchen, a new charity restaurant in the borough of Red Bank that features a "pay-what-you-can" system.

Located in a former auto body shop near the Red Bank train station in central New Jersey, the diner specializes in healthy variations on classic soul food dishes. It provides gourmet-quality meals to the hungry, and in exchange, diners can either pay a suggested donation or perform volunteer work in the restaurant or in the community.

A new clip for "Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance" has landed online. The brand new clip sees the flaming cursed biker suddenly appears to save a woman who is nearly murdered by several thugs. He is seen flying over with his motorbike and then staring at the bad guys as if he wants to bust their heads.

Nicolas Cage has presented the exclusive new clip at the 2011 Scream Awards last Saturday, October 15. During the awarding event, which aired on Spike TV last Tuesday, October 18, the 47-year-old actor also received a special honor of Maverick Award.

It is unclear what led him to unleash the angry tweet, but he has got backlashes from some fellow Twitter users. "Hey Moron 5, you bunch of no-talent hacks. Go get real jobs and stop polluting the EMS with your noise," one tweep under the name doulosChristou wrote, while mmcan43 responded, "Fox News is only evil to liberals. Just stick to making your beautiful music, okay?"

Garrett Hedlund might be a manga-based hero in live-action remake of Japanese anime "Akira". Variety reported that Warner Bros. Pictures has given a green light to the project, and is eyeing the "Tron Legacy" actor to tackle one of the two male lead roles.

No official offer has been made to Hedlund, but some insiders revealed that it will be made soon. Multiple sources added that the project will begin the production in late February or early March 2012, with Spanish director Jaume Collet-Serra replacing Albert Hughes to take on the helming duty.

It has been reported by Slash Film that Warner Bros. Pictures will attach a six-minute prologue of "The Dark Knight Rises" to the IMAX release of "Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol" in December. A user named Luke Ford claimed that [SPOILER ALERT!] the scene is set in a prison in India where Bane tells another prisoner that something is coming for him. Suddenly, a massive amount of ninjas attack the prison and they fight with the guards who have bullied Bane. The leader of the ninjas sets Bane free and says that the ninjas know Bane's DNA makes him impervious to pain. Bane then befriends the ninjas. After the epic battle scene, the credits rolls with the Bat symbol rising through flames.

NBC has set a premiere date for "Fear Factor". Years after it was canceled, the reality game show will return on the peacock on Monday, December 12 with a two-hour premiere, taking over "The Sing Off" slot after the singing competition show wraps its latest season on December 5.
