Although they were bitter at each other at first, Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson were civil during an outing with their son over the weekend. The married but estranged couple was spotted hand in hand after having a casual lunch at Carney's in Studio City, California.

According to People's source, Wentz and Simpson were "smiling and having a sweet time with their son. They definitely looked like a happy family - very chatty and smiling a lot. [They were] very attentive to their son."

Panic At the Disco frontman Brendon Urie showed a ghastly injury on his left ankle during his concert at Pompano Beach Amphitheater, Florida over the weekend. He broke his ankle while climbing back onto the stage after going into the crowd.

Urie told the audience that he thought his ankle was broken so he took off his shoe and sock to reveal a big swell. "There's like a softball in my ankle," Urie who did not show a slight pain in his face said. Then he told the concertgoers that he would have to perform with one bare foot.

Before the actual wedding takes place, Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo held a wedding shower at the rooftop of London Hotel in West Hollywood. The couple invited close friends and family on Sunday, May 29 to gather and watch the great view of Los Angeles skyline while enjoying cocktails.

"Nick and Vanessa greeted guests hand-in-hand. Vanessa looked gorgeous in a white dress with a black sash. She and Nick both seemed very excited to celebrate with their families and friends," an eyewitness told People, adding "Everyone seemed to have a great time. It was a laidback, yet sophisticated atmosphere. Guests danced until the late hours."

The first trailer for "Spy Kids 4: All the Time in the World" has been made available for viewing pleasure. Offering a sneak peek at the action and adventure for the family, it takes a look at Jessica Alba as a retired-spy stepmother. It also shares glimpses of Joel McHale and former Spy Kids, Alexa Vega and Daryl Sabara.

Ahead of its season 2 premiere on June 7, "Covert Affairs" dropped a longer teaser. Clocking in around 5 minutes, the clip opens with Piper Perabo's Annie walking down the beach and taking a dip into the ocean before walking back to the U.S. Naval Hospital with Eion Bailey's Ben.

Ben is being treated in the Guam medical facility for an injury he sustained after getting shot in his previous mission. Once returning at the hospital, they are settled in his room. However, their peace is short lived when some people, armed with guns, break into his room and try to kill them both.

Angelina Jolie is insisting that her portrayal of Cleopatra will be different from Elizabeth Taylor's in the 1963 film. Sitting down with The Telegraph recently, the Elise Ward of "The Tourist" confessed that hers will never be as lovely as Elizabeth's since she aims to deliver a more accurate portrait of the ancient Egyptian queen.

"She has been very misunderstood," insisted the 35-year-old. Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise have taken a stroll down the beach in style. When attending a Memorial Day beach party in Malibu, California on Monday, May 30, the mother-daughter duo were snapped sinking their heels into the sand as they romped along the Pacific coastline for some seaside fun together.

During the occasion, 32-year-old Katie looked chic in a pair of denim shorts, a white v-neck tee and a black linen blazer. Looking beautiful in her red dress, Pia kicked off the special concert honoring members of the military and their families with a solid rendition of National Anthem "The Star-Spangled Banner". Warner Bros. Television decides not to submit "Two and a Half Men", which will be revamped with Ashton Kutcher on the lead, for Best Comedy Series nomination at upcoming Primetime Emmy Awards. The decision was made due to Charlie Sheen's firing from the show and controversies that followed, Deadline reported.

While refusing to enter competition for the Best Comedy Series accolade due to the Charlie Sheen fiasco, bosses behind the show are fully supportive toward his former co-stars Jon Cryer, Holland Taylor, Angus T. Jones and Conchata Ferrell. The studio reportedly will go full throttle in campaigning for their win at the awards show.

LeAnn Rimes continues to insist that she is a healthy girl. On Sunday, May 29, the "What I Cannot Change" singer tweeted two pictures of her donning a skimpy Mikoh Swimwear blue bikini while enjoying honeymoon in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico with husband Eddie Cibrian, but ended up having to defend her skinny figure.

After LeAnn shared the photos, one of her followers responded by tweeting, "Whoa, you're scary skinny! Sorry don't mean to offend but that's a lot of bones showing through skin..." The first clip from "Fright Night" has been premiered as part of MTV's "Sneak Peek Week" for the promotional effort for the 2011 MTV Movie Awards. The less-than-a-minute video takes the focus on a heart-to-heart conversation between Colin Farrell and Anton Yelchin in which the former gives the latter a warning about the raw appeal of his girlfriend and mother.

Anton plays high school senior Charlie Brewster, while Colin tackles the role of a vampire named Jerry. In the movie, Charlie finally has it all going on. He's running with the popular crowd and dating the most coveted girl in his high school. In fact, he's so cool he's even dissing his best friend. But trouble arrives when Jerry moves in next door.

Scotty McCreery visited Disney World on Memorial Day. Continuing the annual tradition of "American Idol" champs, the newly-crowned winner of the singing competition took the stage at the theme park's "The American Idol Experience". He treated audience with his debut single "I Love You This Big".

"[It] can be interpreted in so many different ways," he told the crowd about the song before singing it in front of the screaming audience. "You can think of it like a man talk to his woman singing 'I love you honey' or a little kid talk to their parents singing 'I Love you this big mommy'."

Jennifer Hudson is fuming mad over a story that she is struggling to land a book deal for her weight loss memoir because publishers are more interested in the tragic murders of her family members. The season 3 contestant of "American Idol" has taken to Twitter to demand apology from the gossip site running the report.

The "Where You At" singer began her series of angry rants on Monday morning, May 30. "Something's are priceless . How low can people go. I just don't get it. In anticipation of "The Big C" return on June 27, a brand new promo for the Showtime dramedy series is released. The clip takes a peek at how cancer-striken Cathy, who is played by Laura Linney, sees life in a whole new perspective. There is no more "the world always looks brighter from behind a smile" idea.

Beside the new promo, there is also a behind-the-scene footage which features the cast talking about what's to expect from the upcoming season 2. "We don't think The Big C is a show about cancer. It's a show about a woman who happens to have a cancer," said executive producer/writer Jenny Bicks.

Putting his love child scandal aside, Arnold Schwarzenegger is enjoying the Memorial Day weekend by tearing up the road. On Monday morning, May 30, the former California governor was seen riding his Indian motorcycle in Malibu, California without the company of friends or bodyguard. He was wearing a black helmet and leather jacket for the cruise.

The 63-year-old spent Memorial Day weekend separately from estranged wife, Maria Shriver. Taylor Swift dropped by "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" once again. The country music cutie delivered her single "Mean" with her band while strumming her banjo. Near the end of the performance, she was joined by a back-up singer and a violinist to croon the chorus.

Peter Jackson's two-film adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien's "The Hobbit" have gotten their official titles and release dates. On Monday, May 30, New Line Cinema, Warner Bros. Pictures and MGM announced that they will be called "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" and "The Hobbit: There and Back Again".

"An Unexpected Journey", the first half of the two-part adaptation, is due to arrive in theaters across the United States on December 14, 2012. Meanwhile, the second half, "There and Back Again", is slated to come out nationwide almost exactly a year later with its release date being set on December 13, 2013.

There was a wedding in the second episode of "The Bachelorette" new season. Picking up cell phone salesman William Holman as her first one-on-one date, Ashley Hebert took him to Las Vegas. Upon arriving in the Sin City, they explored the town, going into a cake shop and testing wedding cake.

The pair seemed to have a good time together, but William started to freak out when the chef asked him how many guests were going to attend the big event. He was getting more nervous when he was dragged to a jewelery store to pick out rings, and then to a chapel where a preacher was ready to assist them.

Snooki has found herself getting into some trouble with police in Florence, Italy. On Monday, May 30, the "Jersey Shore" star was involved in a fender bender with a patrol car that has been assigned to escort her, and sent a male and female police officer to a hospital for whiplash, bruises and cuts.

The 23-year-old reality TV star was driving her Fiat Multipla with co-star Deena Cortese and a member of the show's production team when she crashed into the back of the patrol car. Although two officers were rushed to the emergency room of the local Careggi hospital, no one involved sustained any serious injuries.

Warner Bros. Pictures keeps releasing character poster for its much-awaited movie "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II". After the likes of Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ron Wesley and Lord Voldemort were highlighted in a series of previous posters, now it's Draco Malfoy's turn to get the spotlight in this new one.

With tagline "It All Ends 7.15", the banner features Tom Felton's Draco looking cautious as he watches something unseen over his shoulder. The sneering and pompous Slytherin student of Hogwarts wears a black-on-black suit and tie combo, apparently taking inspiration from He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named himself.

Hip-Hop star Sean Kingston has been stabilized. The "Beautiful Girls" hitmaker was, on Sunday, May 29, rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital following a jet ski accident that reportedly left him in critical condition, but he has since been moved from the trauma center into the intensive care unit.

Giving a latest update on the 21-year-old's condition post the accident was his publicist Joseph Carozza. In a statement released to the press, the representative said, "Sean Kingston is now stabilized and has moved from the trauma unit to ICU. Sean's family thanks everyone for their prayers and support during this time."

Britney Spears has just announced European leg of her upcoming "Femme Fatale" tour. The pop singer is going to fly across the pond for a series of live concerts roughly a month after completing the North American trek with her special guest Nicki Minaj.

The "Hold It Against Me" singer will kick it off on September 24 at Olimpiiski in Moscow, Russia with tickets going on sale starting June 1. Her next stops include Ukraine, Switzerland and Denmark. She is expected to wrap it up on October 21 in Montpellier, France.
