The reconciliation between Billy Ray Cyrus and wife Tish might have something to do with Miley Cyrus reuniting with her ex-boyfriend Liam Hemsworth. A source close to the former "Hannah Montana" star suggested the idea when confirming to Hollywood Life that the co-stars on "The Last Song" are indeed back on.

Accordingly, it was Miley's parents who played a huge part in the two getting back together. "Miley is so thrilled at her parents reconciling, and it made her stop and think, and realize that Liam is someone special in her life," shared the insider. "Their feelings for each other never stopped, and now that their schedules are better suited for each other, they have been able to work it out."

Katy Perry, The Beach Boys, Chris Martin and Arcade Fire are among the stars who have donated memorabilia to a charity auction raising money for the relief effort in Japan. The Jonas Brothers, Kylie Minogue, Iron Maiden and The Smashing Pumpkins' Billy Corgan have also handed over personal items and collectibles for the eBay event, which will help survivors of the Japanese earthquake/tsunami disaster on March 11.

Rumors suggesting Rihanna and Colin Farrell have been dating since late 2010 have been exploded by a Rolling Stone reporter, who was with the R&B star when the famous couple was most recently caught "dining together".

Writer Josh Eells was interviewing the "Umbrella" singer at her favorite Los Angeles-area restaurant Giorgio Baldi for the new issue of Rolling Stone when they spotted the Irish actor in the middle of a dinner business meeting nearby. Upon spotting the singer, the movie star walked over to her table and exchanged pleasantries before leaving the restaurant via a back door to avoid the waiting paparazzi.

Simon Cowell regrets turning down a bizarre $150,000 offer to watch a couple have sex and critique their technique. The music mogul, famed for giving harsh criticisms on TV talent shows like "American Idol", was approached by a businessman who wanted Cowell to join him and his partner in the bedroom to judge their love-making skills.

The Brit admits he was so taken aback by the odd request, he had to decline. He tells CNN host Piers Morgan, "He offered me $150,000 to criticize him bonking [having sex with] his wife. The crazy part of the story is I said no. If you're watching, I'll even do it for 50 thousand."

"Dallas" takes another chunk out of "Desperate Housewives". After Jesse Metcalfe and Josh Henderson, the TNT remake has tapped Brenda Strong, who plays Mary Alice Young on the ABC drama, as one of Bobby Ewing's wives named Ann.

Bobby is played once again by Patrick Duffy. In the original series, Bobby wed Pam and April Stevens. Strong's Ann would be his latest wife who has "just as much backbone as Bobby's deceased mama, Miss Ellie," TV Guide said.

Death Cab for Cutie's music video for their brand new single "You Are a Tourist" has just made its way out in full. Directed by Tim Nackashi, it becomes the first-ever scripted, single-take music video production to be broadcast live as it is filmed.

Wearing black light-up ensemble, Ben Gibbard and his bandmates are playing in a jam session as some ballet dancers are engaged in a kaleidoscopic sequence. "It's lots and lots of lights, there are a lot of people involved, and there are a lot of cameras. It's sort of like old world Broadway-come-Hollywood magic at the moment," Chris Walla told Billboard.

New "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" featurette has been released online. The video opens with a brief summary about the history of the "Pirates of the Carribean" attraction and its film adaptation. The fresh preview also features Captain Barbossa's ghost who says, "You best start believin' in ghost stories. You're in one."

On another "On Stranger Tides" news, Walt Disney Pictures has announced that the proceeds of the movie's 3D world premiere will be donated to Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Coming Soon reported that Rich Ross, the chairman of the studio, has announced to give away 100% of the money from the ticket sales to the organization.

One mystery will be solved as another is brought up in "How I Met Your Mother" season 6 finale. The show will flash forward to identify the bride and groom at the close of the May 16 episode while launching another mystery that will continue to unravel well into season 7 and maybe beyond.

"The wedding takes place 'a little ways down the road' - an unidentified, unspecified amount of time away," the series' executive producer Carter Bays tells TVLine. "We will be jumping forward for the last scene of the finale, but then we'll return to the present day when we start Season 7."

Charlie Sheen continues to win audience on his "My Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat Is Not an Option" tour. After getting a better reception in Chicago compared to his Detroit debut, the former "Two and a Half Men" star has received another standing ovation when taking the stage inside Playhouse Square's State Theater in Cleveland on Tuesday night, April 5.

Wearing a Cleveland Indians jersey, the 35-year-old actor walked to the stage through the crowd. Once on the stage, he asked the audience if he could smoke before lighting up his first cigarette. During the show, he won the crowd over when saying he wants to shoot "Major League 3" in the city and compared his feeling about his ex-wives to how Cleveland feel about LeBron James.

Brandon Flowers' family is in bloom this spring - The Killers star has welcomed his third son. The rocker's wife Tana Munblowsky gave birth to a baby boy named Henry last month, March 9. The new arrival joins big brothers Ammon, three, and Gunnar, 19 months.

Brandon pursued a solo career last year. He released a studio album called "Flamingo" in September, and broke Billboard Hot 200 by peaking at No. 8. "I love music but I want to spend more time with my children," he once said. "I'd like to be around when they start school."

Russell Brand suffered for his art while remaking classic comedy "Arthur" - because co-star Nick Nolte kept crushing his genitals in one horse riding scene. Nolte plays the prospective father-in-law of Brand's film persona - and got into character by trying to intimidate the Brit on set.

U.S. funnyman and TV presenter Stephen Colbert is set to return to the savage seas off the coast of Bermuda for another shot at the 777-mile Charleston Race. And now he's hitting the high seas again in May. He tells Outside magazine, "Though I grew up in a sailing community... I am not a sailor. I wasn't allowed to sail because I'm not waterproof. I have no eardrum in my right ear. As a child, I imagined that if the boat capsized, my skull would fill with water and down I'd go, bow first.

Maroon 5 take their devotees to the ocean in a newly-debuted music video for their latest song "Runaway". Instead of featuring the five members of the band, this clip focuses on a surfer who enjoys riding the wave and finds solitude in the sea.

"Runaway" is taken from Maroon 5's third studio album "Hands All Over" which has been in stores since September 2010. The song comes from songwriting hands of Adam Levine, Sam Farrar as well as Noah Passovoy.

Moviemaker Adam Shankman has confirmed reports Mexican actor Diego Boneta will lead the cast in his movie adaptation of stage show "Rock of Ages", insisting he wanted a 23-year-old to play a 23-year-old.

The director passed over Constantine Maroulis, who originated the role of Drew Boley on Broadway - because, at 25, he's too old. Shankman tells EW.com, "I am deeply committed to casting at authentic age - I don't want to have to ask anybody to act like they are 23. I wanted a 23-year-old."

Oscar winner Helen Mirren ticked off another career highlight on the set of comedy "Arthur" - she landed boxing champ Evander Holyfield as a trainer. Holyfield has a cameo in the remake and Mirren decided to ask the fighter to show her how to throw a punch.

Mirren tells WENN, "Evander Holyfield was my personal trainer on the set. He is such a gentleman, but he is the champ and he's a big guy and quite scary, and he was very quiet on the set in the corner with his gang."

Tom Cruise made wife Katie Holmes feel sick on the set of his new "Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol" movie - by diving off the world's tallest building in Dubai. The action man invited the actress and the couple's daughter Suri to the set when he was performing a pivotal stunt in the sequel, and they sat and watched the scene unfold on a monitor in a room adjacent to the top-floor suite Cruise jumped out of.

But Holmes could only watch one take - and had to excuse herself. She explains, "They yell, 'Rolling' and 'Action!' and he drops a lot of feet... I said, 'That was great, we're gonna go and wait in the holding area'. His friend wrote (emailed) to me and said, 'What did you think?' I said, 'Oh my God, I was terrified.' I wanted to throw up... but I think I pulled it off, 'cause I told him I loved it."

Britney Spears' ex-husband Kevin Federline will add another baby girl to his brood when his girlfriend gives birth to their first child together this summer. The former dancer and rapper has confirmed reports volleyball player Victoria Prince is pregnant, posing with his girlfriend in a touching new Us Weekly magazine photo.

Federline reveals the unborn tot is a girl and they have already picked out a name. He tells Us Weekly magazine, "(Prince) said that if we were going to have a little girl, she wanted to name her Jordan. And then, we actually thought that it was a boy, but we stuck with the name Jordan because, you know, it fits both ways. We just found out the other day that we're having a girl. So it worked out!"

Brad Dourif has landed a role on "Fringe". The 61-year-old actor has been cast for a key role in season 3 finale which will be aired on May 6. According to TVLine, Dourif will portray Moreau who is simply described as "a mysterious character".

Dourif gained early fame for his portrayal of Billy Bibbit in "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest". He has since appeared in a number of films and TV series including the "Child's Play' franchise in which he voices Chucky, and "Deadwood" in which he portrays Doc Cochran.

Rocker Vince Neil has been charged with domestic violence and disorderly conduct, following an incident in Las Vegas in March 2011. The Motley Crue star is alleged to have stormed into comedian Hal Sparks' show at the Las Vegas Hilton, yelling obscenities aimed at his TV reporter, ex-girlfriend Alicia Jacobs and one of her pals, who were in the audience.

Though Neil was not arrested, Jacobs filed a battery report, alleging the star jabbed her with his finger during the confrontation. Neil has now been charged with two misdemeanors, which could land him back behind bars if the judge rules it was a violation of his probation, reports TMZ.com.

The success of "Harry Potter" franchise has apparently led Warner Bros. Pictures to go further with similar genre. The Wrap has reported David Heyman, producer of all "Harry Potter" films, is adapting French youth-fantasy novel series into a movie, called "The Adventure of Oscar Pill", for the studio.

The novels are written by French author/physician Eli Anderson. Like J.K. Rowling's books, the novels center on a teenage boy who has extraordinary talent. Oscar, the main character, finds out that he has the capability of traveling inside living organisms, including humans.

Britney Spears goes to the future, December 12, 2012 to be exact, in a brand new music video filmed to support her second single "Till the World Ends". Directed by Ray Kay, it is set in a time when the world falls apart and Britney leads people to escape the madness by throwing an underground party.

Britney reportedly will release not just one but two music videos for the single co-written by Ke$ha. According to Just Jared, the one which has more of an apocalyptic storyline will be a director's cut, and the other which features more of Britney's dance moves will be a choreography cut.

Life imitates art for "Glee" stars Jane Lynch and Matthew Morrison. Starring in a brand new Funny or Die video, Jane who is famous for her portrayal of Sue Sylvester loses her cool when she is carpooling to work with Matt, who plays her on-screen nemesis Will Schuester, and he just won't stop singing.

The horror begins when Matt turns on the radio and starts crooning the songs played from George Michael's "Faith" to Will Smith's "Wild Wild West". Every time Matt sings along, Jane changes the channel with hilarious explanations. To George's "Faith", she reasons, "Religious conversations make me uneasy," while to Eiffel 65's "Blue", she says, "I'm color blind."

Reality TV star-turned-designer Lauren Conrad has landed a three-book deal with publishers HarperCollins. The star has already hit the top of the New York Times bestseller list with her debut teen novel, "L.A. Candy", and now she's aiming for the top of the book charts again with a trilogy, titled "The Fame Game".

UsMagazine.com reports the story will be set in the reality TV universe, and feature the protagonist from the "L.A. Candy" book, Madison Parker. Conrad says, "We took the mean girl of the 'L.A. Candy' books, spinning her off. This series is about a girl who loves everything that fame is, and that's all she's ever really wanted. She has fun with the press, she enjoys the attention, she welcomes scandal!"

Callie and Arizona's happy day has been teased in a picture of "Grey's Anatomy". Making its way out via TV Guide, the photo features both characters wearing white gowns but it is Callie who dons the bride veil. Their wedding will take place in May 5 episode.

Callie accepted Arizona's proposal in the end of the 18th episode titled "Song Beneath the Song". The couple's marriage will be held in the woods, and is officiated by Miranda Bailey (Chandra Wilson).

"The Office" is making it more difficult for fans to guess who would replace Michael Scott as the manager of Scranton branch. Three more actors who have just been added to appear on the May finale are Ray Romano, Catherine Tate and James Spader. These three will join previously announced Will Arnett, Will Ferrell and Ricky Gervais.

The names are yet to be confirmed but cast slash writer Mindy Kaling made jokes about the casting in her tweets. "Yep, our James Spader arc includes a 'Secretary'-like story line between him and @arnettwill," she wrote, adding "Also, Ray Romano, who I love a great deal and am dying to meet."

"Arthur" has been brought to New York for its premiere on Tuesday, April 5. Russell Brand, who starred as the main character in the comedy film, came in his light gray tuxedo to the event, which took place at Ziegfeld Theatre. Chloe Moretz kicked off this week filming "Hick" in Wrightsville, NC. The 14-year-old "Kick-Ass" cutie was spotted running on the set on Monday, April 4, donning a casual outfit which includes a yellow top, black shorts and a scarf.

Moretz takes the key role of 13-year-old Nebraska girl named Luli who flees her neglectful parents in Nebraska and tries to make her way in Las Vegas. Along her hard-going life on the road, she will be taken under the wing of a hard-living grifter, Glenda.

Rihanna, Justin Bieber and Kanye West reportedly deserve no songwriting credits for the songs they recorded. Sparking the credit 'fraud' allegation was songwriter Heather Bright when she talked about working with big stars in a recent interview with Free-Wired.

"Rihanna takes publishing, Justin Bieber takes publishing, Kanye West takes publishing," Heather said. "On all the stuff that they don't write, they take publishing." She has songwriting credit in Justin's song "Somebody to Love" along with The Stereotypes.

Ashley Judd has shared an insight on her troubled childhood in a new memoir "All That is Bitter & Sweet". Baring some shocking secrets about growing up in her country-singing family, the 42-year-old beauty wrote about her painful memories of lies, neglect, sexual abuse, thoughts of suicide and drug addiction in the family.

Rap veteran Flavor Flav has dismissed allegations his fried chicken restaurant is in financial difficulty after a number of employees claimed their pay checks had bounced. The Public Enemy star launched Flav's Fried Chicken in Clinton, Iowa in January, but the fast-food joint hit headlines on Monday, April 4, when a number of staff members went public with claims they hadn't been able to collect their earnings.

Two employees alleged they were owed several weeks of wages after banks refused to accept their pay checks. Flavor Flav has now spoken out about the allegations, insisting there is no problem with the company accounts and all his employees have been "paid in full". He tells WQAD television, "Let me say this - being that is is a new up-and-running business there was a couple glitches, ya know, with the credit card machine, ya know what I'm saying."

Hip-hop DJ and record producer Mister Cee is facing a public lewdness charge after he was arrested in New York. The star, who famously produced records for late rapper Notorious B.I.G., was detained by police in Manhattan on Wednesday, March 30.

Police officers allegedly caught him receiving oral sex in a car which was "open to public view", according to court papers obtained by the New York Daily News. The publication reports he was arraigned on charges of public lewdness and exposure of a person and due back in court in June.

Lady GaGa continues her charity work to support LGBT community. The Monster ringleader recently decided to donate proceeds of her "Born This Way" country road version to benefit the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN).

Adam Harris reportedly joined an audition to play in the next "Superman" reboot. The actor is allegedly eying the role of villainous Lex Luthor in Zack Snyder's project. British rocker Noel Gallagher is preparing to exchange vows with his longtime girlfriend Sara MacDonald this summer after proposing on 2010, according to a U.K. Report. The musician and his partner have been together since the early 2000s and share two sons - and Gallagher has cemented their relationship by asking MacDonald for her hand in marriage, reports The Sun.

A source tells the British publication, "Noel secretly asked Sara to marry him on her birthday last October. He's not one for making a big scene. Veteran actress Jane Fonda has heaped praise on controversial new TV series "The Kennedys", insisting Katie Holmes did "really well" with her portrayal of Jackie Kennedy. The show, which stars Greg Kinnear as assassinated U.S. President John F. Kennedy and Holmes as his on-screen wife Jackie, hit headlines back in January when The History Channel bosses scrapped it from their broadcast schedule, citing the program as "not a fit for the History brand".

Robert Pattinson is likely to be surrounded by a number of adorable women in "Bel Ami". Nate Dogg's sons eye to follow the footsteps of their late father. Nigel and Little Nate have revealed their interest to pursue rap careers in a first interview since their dad's passing. The two teenage boys said that they want to "try to be just like him."

Christopher Nolan has decided to shoot "The Dark Knight Rises" in Pittsburgh this summer. The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette has reported that the director has added the Pennsylvania city to filming locations for the "The Dark Knight" sequel.

While announcing the news on Tuesday, April 5, Nolan also praised the city. He is quoted as saying, "Pittsburgh is a beautiful city." He further detailed, "We have been able to find everything we were looking for here, and I am excited to spend the summer in Pittsburgh with our final installment of Batman."
