And Perry is convinced their love will last because the Brit is able to keep her outrageous personality in check.

She says, "He's a walking genius. Just standing next to him makes me smarter. He's good for me... He's the boss, he calls the shots. But I like that. I've been waiting for someone I couldn't steamroll."

Newly engaged Hilary Duff has yet to begin planning her wedding with fiance Mike Comrie - because she was taken by surprise when the ice hockey star proposed. The singer/actress has been dating the Edmonton Oilers star for two years and he asked for her hand in marriage during a romantic break in Hawaii in early February.

But the 22-year-old had no idea Comrie was planning to take their relationship to the next level, according to her older sister Haylie Duff. Haylie tells People.com, "She was completely surprised. I don't think that happens all the time. I think most of the time people figure it out or have some idea that it's going to happen, and I think it's great he was able to do a surprise like that for her."

Lindsay Lohan refuses to rule out a reconciliation with ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson - because she still loves the DJ. The couple's tumultuous on/off romance came to an end in 2009, but despite a public argument with her former lover in early February, Lohan admits the pair may get back together.

And the "I Know Who Killed Me" star insists Ronson will be the only woman she ever dates, because she's never had an interest in same-sex relationships. She explains, "I never really thought about women before - it kind of just happened with Samantha. It surprised me."

The 76-year-old funnywoman blasts the singer-turned-fashion-designer for flaunting her wealth by purchasing luxury clothes and accessories, when the wife of David Beckham could be spending her money on more worthwhile causes.

The Queen Zonthara of TV series "Dave the Barbarian" says, "Victoria Beckham should get a life. I'm not a fan of outrageous consumption. I think it is vulgar. Elijah Wood is currently in Sydney, Australia to record voices for "Happy Feet 2". On Sunday night, February 21, Alicia Malone from What's Playing had a chance to catch up with the cast member for the film at the Tropfest Awards during when he revealed a detail of the film's storyline.

Asked about the sequel to 2006 "Happy Feet", Wood said there will be new characters. After being confused to explain further about the film, the actor shared, "Mumble, my character, has a son this time around." Shakira has met with U.S. President Barack Obama to discuss her charity campaign to educate underprivileged kids across the world. The "Hips Don't Lie" singer, who is an ambassador for UNICEF and runs her own charity the Barefoot Foundation, is calling for impoverished children to be given better access to education.

And she took her campaign to the White House on Monday, February 22 to speak to Obama about increasing investment in the scheme. She says, "It was such a privilege to sit down with the President in the Oval Office to discuss our shared commitment to education and early childhood development. We agreed that investing in our children is the smartest strategy governments can use to boost economic growth, fight poverty, and promote global security and peace."

For the first time since his "Twilight" fame, Robert Pattinson admitted that he is dating Kristen Stewart. This revelation came on the heels of their attendance at Sunday, February 21 BAFTA Awards which did not see them arriving together but witnessed them leaving for the post-do dinner in the same car.

"It is extremely difficult but we are together, yes," he said as quoted by The Sun. "We can't arrive at the same time because of the fans. It goes crazy. This was supposed to be a public appearance as a couple but it's impossible. We are here together and it's a public event but it's not easy. We have to do all this stuff to avoid attention."

Mickey Rourke is preparing to swap acting for music - he's set to perform with rock band The Rotten Hill Gang onstage at a London night club. "The Wrestler" star will play percussion with the group when they take the stage at Jalouse in the British capital later this week, according to the band's Stephen Webster.

Webster, who is pals with Rourke, has revealed he asked the star to join them while he is in the U.K. following his appearance at Sunday's, February 21 British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Awards. He says, "Mickey's a great friend of mine so why not get him involved? Mickey will be fabulous on tambourine."

Lindsay Lohan's dad Michael Lohan has defended his decision to speak out about the actress' drug problems, insisting he has only turned to the press because he is desperately worried about the star. Michael first opened up about his famous daughter in 2007 and has since become well known for airing his grievances about their fractured relationship in public.

The "Mean Girls" star entered rehab twice in 2007 and she recently claimed her dad's outspoken nature caused her drug-taking to spiral out of control. In a candid interview with Britain's The Sun newspaper, Lindsay said, "When my father was going public, that's when I hit rock bottom."

Rihanna is heading to a new direction post releasing dark songs in "Rated R". The Barbadian songstress recently said that she wants something less intense and so plots to make energetic music for her next studio album.

" 'Rated R', I love the sound of it, in terms of the bass," she explained to MTV Korea. "I really like the bottom, the grime of it. But if I were to combine that with more energetic, up-tempo pop records, then I think that will be a happy marriage. And that's where we'll probably go next."

Wesley Snipes has backed plans to honor his late "Bad" co-star Michael Jackson at the New York subway station the iconic video was filmed. City bosses want to erect a tribute to the King of Pop at the Hoyt-Schermerhorn station in Brooklyn.

Snipes, who shot scenes at the station with Jackson and director Martin Scorsese, insists it would be a worthy honor, following the star's death in June 2009. And he insists he still remembers the lessons he learned from Jackson, nearly 25 years after they met.

Jennifer Garner serenaded her teenage crush with an instrumental rendition of Phil Collins' song "Groovy Kind of Love" - and was reprimanded for disturbing the peace. After "Blade: Trinity" was released in 2004, Wesley Snipes has once said that he believes there will be "Blade 4". Arrowinthehead (AITH) recently attended a junket of his upcoming film "Brooklyn's Finest" in which the actor gave some updates on the next "Blade" film.

According to Snipes, there have been some talks about "Blade 4". About his possible return to the franchise, the 47-year-old claimed he "would be interested" to reprise his role in the fourth film if the script is right, so AITH reported.

Don Cheadle blames former U.S. president George W. Bush for ruining the economy and derailing his plans to play jazz great Miles Davis on the big screen. Cheadle was cast in a biopic of Davis, but the movie was shelved when Hollywood got caught up in the global economic crises.

Nearly two years on, the actor hopes the project will finally get the green light, but he's still fearful it'll end up on the studios' scrapheap. Cheadle tells WENN, "Touch wood, it's been a long time coming. Working on the script right now and hopefully it will find a home."

Dave Annable is so excited by his recent engagement to Odette Yustman that he was willing to share the details how he proposed to her. To Us magazine, the "Brothers & Sisters" actor said their parents were actually there to celebrate with them soon as he popped the question on Valentine's Day.

"I [proposed] at a place where we fell in love," the 30-year-old actor said. "It was in Santa Barbara [Calif.], and I surprised her with her parents and my parents after [the proposal]. Charlie Sheen's wife Brooke Mueller has transferred to a more low-key rehabilitation facility after a security breach prompted her to leave the Malibu, California center she checked into in early February. Mueller was admitted to The Canyon on February 9 to deal with personal issues after a similar stay at a North Carolina wellness clinic, where she spent a week recuperating after suffering from an infection and a bout of pneumonia.

But she has now left The Canyon in favor of a quieter location, after a staff member leaked a detailed patient admissions document to the press, reports TMZ.com. A source tells People.com the real estate agent transferred facilities on Sunday, February 21.

Slash will resume his search for Scott Weiland's replacement in Velvet Revolver once he completes his solo tour. The group, founded by the guitarist and his former Guns N' Roses' bandmate Duff McKagan, has been auditioning singers since firing Weiland in April 2008.

Slash's planned solo tour in summer prompted fears among the supergroup's fans Velvet Revolver would never play again. However, the rocker insists he's waiting for his schedule to line up with McKagan's - who is rumored to have stepped in to replace Jane's Addiction bassist Eric Avery during the band's hiatus.

"Keeping Up with the Kardashians" ended the fourth season with an impressive rating and the family is now looking at a bigger picture. Kim Kardashian wrote on her official blog that she loves the idea of bringing the reality show to wide screen. Proclaiming that she would be the executive producer if indeed it will make it as a movie, Kim said, "Khloe would definitely be played by Liv Tyler. Justin Bieber's meet and greet event at the Citadium in Paris, France on February 22 was stopped by police. The "One Less Lonely Girl" hitmaker was then asked to leave the venue to avoid chaos when more and more fans packed into the building which was already loaded with thousands of teenagers.

Pete Wentz has joined forces with the United Nations to raise awareness about the importance of providing safe drinking water to children around the globe. The rocker and father-of-one has been named the national spokesperson for the 2010 UNICEF Tap Project, a campaign which encourages people to donate as little as $1 for tap water at restaurants across the U.S. during World Water Week.

The money will go towards the UNICEF water fund to improve kids' access to clean water in countries across the world. And Wentz is proud to be involved in such a significant cause. He says, "It's truly an honor to be the national spokesperson for the Tap Project and support efforts to provide clean water to children in the developing world."

Embattled actor Charlie Sheen received a call from social services at the weekend, on February 21 when they paid a visit to his Los Angeles home. The "Two and a Half Men" star is currently looking after his twin sons Bob and Max, who turn one on March 14, after his wife Brooke Mueller checked into a rehab facility in Malibu, California on February 9.

The couple has been working on rebuilding its marriage following a 2009 Christmas Day bust-up in Aspen, Colorado which led to Sheen's arrest. As soon as the case of him and some paparazzi involved in a scuffle went public, Travis Barker took it to his Twitter to explain the real story. The drummer said the video that got leaked was edited so it pictured him on the wrong side.

Bruce Willis seems eager to reprise his "Die Hard" role in another installment of the action film series, planning to start shooting for "Die Hard 5" in 2011. In a recent interview with MTV, the actor stated, "I think we're going to do a 'Die Hard 5' next year."

But Broadway bosses are keen to lure Michele back - with a part written specifically for her in new musical Speargrove Presents, which tells the story of a Texas high school's fight to stage a production of risque musical Rent.

Scarlett Johansson has heaped praise on the bodyguard who saved her life while filming "The Other Boleyn Girl", after a wild horse nearly crushed her to death. Johansson put her riding skills to the test while shooting the historic 2008 film, but one dangerous scene almost turned deadly when the petite star fell from a stallion and it came crashing down on top of her.

She explains, "I was riding side saddle with this 400 pound costume on and I always carried around (traveled with) this Bulgarian body guard... It had been raining and we rode up this muddy embankment and suddenly the horse was being temperamental. He reared up and I felt majestic on top until his whole a** slid underneath him and he started to roll over on one side."

Lily Allen is putting her culinary efforts to the test - the "Smile" hitmaker is reportedly agreed to cook curry with her father Keith Allen to raise money for the Haiti aid appeal. The actor auctioned off his chef skills at an event in Rodborough, England last week, raising $4,800 for Help for Haiti.

Allen offered to spend an evening at the winning bidder's house, cooking them a curry - and the prize was snapped up for $384. The 56-year-old actor has asked his famous daughter to accompany him to help in the kitchen, according to Britain's The Sun newspaper.

Kate Winslet treasures the Alexander McQueen's dress she wore for her first wedding - because it reminds her of happy times spent with the tragic designer. The "Titanic" star enlisted McQueen to design the gown for her 1998 nuptials to first husband Jim Threapleton, the father of her daughter, Mia.

The marriage ended in divorce - but Winslet still has fond memories of the late designer and her classic McQueen dress. The first guests of "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" have been announced and it looks like Jay Leno has enough fuel to win back his audience. The talk show which was previously Conan O'Brien's hosting vehicle before Leno wants the 11.35 slot back, is set to make a return on March 1 with Jamie Foxx on the couch.

Foxx will not be the only guest on the premiere since Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn will also be in attendance along with musical performer Brad Paisley. Allison Iraheta is confirmed to return to the stage of "American Idol" this coming Thursday, February 25. The red-headed singer is going to perform "Scars", a track released to follow up her debut single "Friday I'll Be Over You".

Billy Joel's daughter Alexa Ray Joel is following in the footsteps of her model mother Christie Brinkley - she's been named the new face of the Prell shampoo line, 24 years after her mum modeled for the brand. Brinkley famously stepped in front of the camera to advertise Prell in 1986, while she was still married to Alexa's musician father.

And now the 24-year-old is set to take over after signing a deal with bosses at the brand. She will appear in print and TV promos for Prell, which will also feature her music. Alexa tells New York Post's gossip column PageSix, "I am so excited and honoured to be named the new face of Prell - especially following in the footsteps of my mother, who was a Prell girl."

The surviving members of Boyzone considered shelving their upcoming album "Brother" following Stephen Gately's death - but agreed their late bandmate "would never have forgiven" them if they had scrapped the record. The five-piece were hard at work on the album when Gately suddenly died in October 2009.

The grief-stricken group contemplated axing "Brother" - but after several emotional discussions they decided to release the album in honor of Gately. Keith Duffy tells Britain's Daily Star, "We started work on this album over a year ago and Steo (Gately) played a big part in choosing songs - he was seriously excited about making it."

After years trying to conceive and finally got her wish come true last year, Padma Lakshmi delivered a healthy baby girl on Saturday, February 20. "Model, author and Emmy-nominated host of Top Chef Padma Lakshmi gave birth to a baby girl named Krishna Thea Lakshmi on Saturday," her rep told People.

The rep added, "Mother and baby are well and happy," but still did not divulge the identity of the baby's father. In January, Lakshmi had uttered her intention to give the baby an Indian name. "It will be after someone in my family, so don't expect to see an Anglicized name - it will be a classically Indian Sanskrit name," she said.

Moviemaker Kevin Smith is convinced overweight people face discrimination in America - because there is a lot of "fat hate out there". The "Clerks" director was left fuming in early February when he was booted off a Southwest airlines flight because of his size.

He went public with his story and slammed bosses at the U.S. firm for the unfriendly move, receiving two apologies from Southwest chiefs. Ian McShane may cause troubles during Johnny Depp's adventure in "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides". According to The Hollywood Reporter, the English actor is currently in negotiations to star in the upcoming film, being offered a villainous role.

FOX sources have confirmed to Entertainment Weekly that producers of the musical series have re-arranged their hectic schedule to accommodate the honorable gig.
