Red Band Harold and Kumar 2 Trailer Comes Up

A restricted trailer for New Line Cinema's upcoming "Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay" has made its way to circulate on the net by now, obviously presenting content that only those above 18 years old are allowed to see.

Not only shows profanity from all different directions, the trailer also relentlessly features everything from nudity to stereotypes on practically every single race and religion.

First Speed Racer Trailer Strikes Online!

Updating the December 6, 2007 news on the Wachowskis' "Speed Racer", the first trailer for the movie has finally hit the net, just one day after its debut on "Entertainment Tonight."

Footage mostly presents racing shots which are depicted in colorful background, arguably revealing the green-screen works behind, something that other filmmakers rarely do. Moreover, the shots featured really point out the "retro future" look that producer Joel Silver previously discussed.

Video Premiere: Rick Ross' 'Speedin''

Although his album, 'Trilla' is bumped from December to February next year, Rick Ross premiered the music video of its first single on BET. The rapper, with Gil Green (DJ Khaled's 'We Takin' Over') as the director, shot the clip for 'Speedin'' that features vocal guest from R. Kelly.

'Trilla' is a reference to the album by Michael Jackson, 'Thriller' because Ross wants his album to be as "intense" as the 1982 album. Other collaborators in the album are Jay-Z, Trick Daddy, Akon, T-Pain and Lil Wayne. It will be dropped on February 19 via Slip-N-Slide Records.

An LA Judge Blocked Hydroderm's $2.8 Million Lawsuit Against Teri Hatcher

It appears that Teri Hatcher's current court battle just got a little less complicated as an LA judge sided her on the not-so-famous lip-plumping case.

US cosmetics company Hydroderm sued the "Desperate Housewives" star for breach of contract, alleged that she has promoted a rival brand's lip gloss. In the lawsuit the company filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on December 4, it is mentioned that Hatcher signed a contract with Hydroderm back in November 2005 to promote their cosmetic and anti-aging products under certain conditions that she would not use "among other things, her name, voice, autograph, image or likeness to, among other things, promote, endorse, market or adverstise skin care products manufactured or marketed by Hydroderm's competitors."

Alvin and the Chipmunks Kicked Out of 2008 Oscar Consideration

Merging live-action shots with CGI animation, the 20th Century Fox's "Alvin and the Chipmunks" has to take its leave from the road to become final contenders of Oscar's 2008 Best Animated Feature.

Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) has come up to a conclusion to drop the movie from the lineup of animated titles considered to be the nominees in the category. Pic is said to not qualified for the rule which states "animation must figure in no less than 75 percent of the picture's running time."

Jay-Z Dismissed From Def Jam?

Words are circulating that Jay-Z is going to be dismissed from Def Jam before he walks away voluntarily. Bosses at the label reportedly are sick of the rapper's huge demands and are therefore glad to pull him from the position as the CEO.

Island Def Jam executives L.A. Reid and Doug Morris allegedly called Jay-Z's demand "excessive". A source told The Daily News, "He wanted big, big money that was way out of sync with the realities of today's record business. People have lost count of how many times he's come out of retirement. Everybody knows he's not around the office much. Everybody at Universal loves him, but they can't justify paying him the money he wants when so many people have been laid off."

50 Cent Caught in Cocaine Scandal

50 Cent is caught in the middle of cocaine scandal after he's been captured on Croatian national TV allegedly snorting cocaine backstage at a concert in Zagreb, Croatia.

Croatia Radio Television reporter Ante Batinovic was supposed to wait outside the rapper's dressing room for an interview, but it appeared that he misunderstood a request to stay where he was and walked into a backstage area during a local channel's live news show during which he accidentally found Fiddy and two members of his posse, as claimed by Croatian news, snorting lines of cocaine off a table.

A nationwide comedy tour will be held as a part of "Semi-Pro" movie promotion. The tour, which is sponsored by FunnyorDie.com, will feature the rising stand-up comics, Zach Galifianakis, Demetri Martin, and Nick Swardson, alongside Will Ferrell, the star of the comedy movie.

The seven-college arena tour will be started on February 4, 2008 in Manhattan and closed on February 22, 2008 in North Carolina. Regarding the tour, Ferrell revealed that he believes that it will change lives. He stated, "Not only will this tour make people laugh, but it's going to change lives...I think."

Michelle Williams is an inch closer to join the cast of "Shutter Island". The "Dawson's Creek" star is said to be in final talk with Paramount Pictures to star as the haunting dead wife of Leonardo DiCaprio's character in the mystery drama movie. If she nails the deal, she will play alongside Mark Ruffalo and Ben Kingsley and will be directed by Martin Scorsese.

The movie, which is scheduled to start production in March, tells a story about two U.S. marshals who come across a series of catastrophe as they investigate the disappearance of a patient from a hospital for the criminally insane. It is adapted by Laeta Kalogridis from Dennis Lehane's novel and will be produced by Phoenix Pictures, Scorsese's Sikelia Prods. and DiCaprio's Appian Way.
