Jolie and Pitt Plead for Privacy

Really tired with the presence of paparazzo roaming around them as they wait for the birth of their first child, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt finally issued a joint statement asking privacy for their family unity, so the Sunday Times of South Africa has reported. Saying that they love the country and enjoy their time in Namibia, the twosome also expressed their gratefulness to its citizen for the warm welcome they have received there. "To the local people who have been so kind and gracious, thank you for making us feel at home," they wrote. "As for the press, we kindly ask for privacy so that we can enjoy this beautiful country with our children."

Nominees of the 2006 MTV Movie Awards Announced

Scored tremendously big through "Wedding Crashers", Owen Wilson is really riding high on the success as two nominations of the 2006 MTV Movie Awards have already fallen to his hand and this amazingly also happened to his co-star, Vince Vaughn, and fellow funnyman Steve Carell from "The 40 Year-Old Virgin." All receiving the same nods in categories Best Comedic Performance and Best On-Screen Team, these three comedic actors subsequently boosted their own vehicles to rack up a leading five nominations apiece, including Best Movie category in which the films face "Batman Begins", "Sin City", and "King Kong" as their competitors.

Reunited Alice In Chains Reveals Tour Dates

Continuing their reunion which has been commenced since 2005, Alice In Chains, through their spokeswoman, announced on Monday, April 24 that they have already fixed up dates for a tour around the States and European. Slated to begin on May 18 in Los Angeles, it next will be commenced in clubs in San Diego, Chicago, Boston, and New York City before reaches a number of countries in Europe running from May 26 in Portugal through July 2 in Netherlands.

DiFranco Marks Comeback at New Orleans Jazz Fest

After taking a hiatus for almost a year because of the tendonitis in her wrists, Ani DiFranco is now ready to make a comeback to music scene and marks the calendar on Friday, April 28 date as the beginning of it. The event will be the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival in which she is slated to play the first night of it which runs throughout the weekend and the following weekend and features noted names, like Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, Keith Urban, and Fats Domino.

Black Eyed Peas Prepares A Johannesburg's Gig

Inspired by their 2004 trip to South Africa, Grammy Award-winning artist Black Eyed Peas has unveiled their next step to headline a benefit concert in Johannesburg aiming to raise awareness for their charity foundation in the region. The first major event for their Peapod Foundation, the show will be held on May 28 at Johannesburg Stadium in which the group will perform with a number of South African artists and dancers.

List of Nominees at the 2006 Ivor Novello Awards

Once again set to hold Ivor Novello Awards this year, British Academy of Composers and Songwriters has announced the nominees of the prestigious event and it was Coldplay who turned out to lead the nominations. Receiving three nods, the band has been nominated through "Fix You" in the category of Best Song also "Speed of Sounds" which will challenge James Blunt's hit single of "You're Beautiful" in those of PRS Most Performed Work and International Hit of the Year.

Denton and Kattan in "Wanted" List

Another new project from indie company Odd Lot, "Wanted: Undead or Alive" now can add "Desperate Housewives" star James Denton and former SNL member Chris Kattan in its cast list as both stars have given their nod to be included in the project. Under the direction of Glasgow Phillips, these two guys will play cowboys who must try to outrun a sheriff and his posse of zombies intent on catching them along with an Indian Girl.
