Oldman Is In Talks for Black Role

Updating the previous news concerning the speculation of Gary Oldman's absence in "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix", the actor has been reported to be in negotiations to reprise his role as Sirius Black. Rumors about this case have spread when the principal photography on the movie has been commenced on February 6 at the U.K.'s Leavesden Studios without Oldman's presence as he at that time had not yet begun his negotiations with Warner Bros. "We're not shooting his part for quite a while, and as is always the case, you begin with the parts that are most pressing," said producer David Heyman. "We have every intention of having Gary Oldman play Sirius Black."

"Friday the 13th" Remake To Be Made

The masked killer Jason Voorhees is on his way to come back as Michael Bay and his Platinum Dunes are eyeing for a remake of "Friday the 13th" through collaboration with screenwriter Mark Wheaton and New Line Cinema. New Line itself previously has released the most recent installment featuring Voorhees entitled "Freddy vs. Jason" in 2003, putting him and Freddy Krueger from the "Nightmare on Elm Street" series to slash against each other.

"Noise" Bills Fillion To Be the Lead

"White Noise 2: The Light" finally has found the perfect actor to play its main character in Nathan Fillion. The "Serenity" star will portray a man who is murdered, but unexpectedly is brought back to life to later realize that he has the ability to identify those among the living who are about to die. So far, Fillion has been the only one in the cast whose role is fixed for his fellow thespian, Katee Sackhoff, is still in negotiations to join him as a nurse who befriends his character after the death of his wife.

Kidman as the Narrator in Wiesenthal Docu

This time taking position behind the screen, actress Nicole Kidman will contribute her voice to narrate a feature-length documentary about the life of the late Simon Wiesenthal who was known as one of the Holocaust survivors. Produced by Simon Wiesenthal Center's documentary films division for this year's release date, the temporarily untitled project will feature a series of interviews with Wiesenthal's longtime associates, friends and family members also government leaders around the world.

Newlywed Scott Stapp Arrested at L.A. Airport

Former Creed frontman, Scott Stapp, was arrested Saturday Feb 11th, 2006 at Los Angeles International Airport for being intoxicated. Explaining on the incident, an Airport Police representative confirmed Stapp was taken into custody for being under the influence, but was unable to elaborate on the charges.
