After her successful debut at the 2025 Golden Globe Awards, rumors are swirling that comedian Nikki Glaser may have secured a multi-year deal to host the prestigious event. But is there any truth to these claims?

AceShowbiz - Nikki Glaser lit up the stage at the 82nd Golden Globe Awards held on January 5, 2025, offering an engaging opening monologue. Addressing speculation about a possible return as host, Glaser clarified during an interview at the 2025 Grammy Awards that no such deal has been confirmed.

"I keep seeing headlines that [say], 'She's got a deal to do three more [Golden Globes ceremonies],' " Glaser said, before adding, "I haven't heard about this [offer] yet."

During her debut, Glaser skillfully balanced entertainment with respect, following in the footsteps of previous hosts like Ricky Gervais and duo Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. She received positive reviews for gently teasing stars such as Glen Powell, Zendaya Coleman, Selena Gomez, and Timothee Chalamet.

"I am not here to roast you tonight, and how could I? You are all so famous, so talented, so powerful,” she noted, setting a lighthearted tone for the evening.

Reflecting on her hosting experience, Glaser explained, “The goal going in was... I want to be funny but when I watch an award show, I just want to feel like I'm in good hands.” She added, "I just wanted people to have a fun time and not feel like I was going after anyone… I worked hard to fulfill that tone and I feel like I succeeded."

Despite her efforts, some of the jokes was deemed too controversial and was cut from her set. One targeted P. Diddy and his bombshell scandal, "This is the last time all of you will be in the same room together until the Diddy trial."

As for her compensation, Glaser revealed on SiriusXM's "The Howard Stern Show" that she was paid less than some previous hosts. "There was a past host who said how much money he got paid... I got less than that, but that's okay. I'll get more next year."

She didn't give a specific number, but internet sleuths quickly pointed out that she was referring to Jerrod Carmichael, who had claimed to be paid $500,000.

Glaser remains open to the possibility of returning as host if invited back by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA). She shared, "I think I like them [the HFPA] as much as they like me and I would like to keep this relationship going because I had a blast doing it. It was hard work but it was the best job I've ever had."

With the 83rd Golden Globe Awards slated for January 2026, only time will tell if Nikki Glaser will once again take the stage. For now, Glaser's debut stands out as a night to remember, hinting at a promising future with the Globes.
