The "Doctor Who" star was seen locking lips with the unidentified woman before the couple embraced warmly. They spent the day enjoying the Brazilian sunshine, strolling along the beach and chatting with friends.

Smith attempted to keep a low profile, shielding his face with a backwards white baseball cap and stylish shades. He completed his casual look with a white T-shirt, baggy blue shorts, and black sliders. His companion looked effortlessly chic in a summery red dress and a brown woven bag.

Smith has been relatively private about his romantic life since his high-profile relationship with actress Lily James ended in 2020. The couple, who met on the set of "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies" in 2014, kept their relationship low profile before going public at the Milan premiere of James' film "Cinderella" in 2015.

"We're not engaged yet. But it's going very well," James told The Sun on Sunday at the time.

The couple ultimately decided to part ways in October 2020. Following their split, Smith was linked to several other notable figures in the past, including actress Billie Piper and model Daisy Lowe.
