The former backup dancer, via his lawyer, warns the 'Oops!...I Did It Again' hitmaker against making 'completely fabricated' claims that's 'based on revisionist history.'

AceShowbiz - Kevin Federline has responded to Britney Spears' claims that he refused to see her when she was pregnant with his baby. The singer and former backup dancer, via his lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan, said that the accusations were "completely fabricated."

During a quick interview with TMZ published on Friday, April 22, Mark said, "[Britney's account] is completely the opposite of what's true, she knows that." The attorney further stressed, "She should be very careful about pursuing a dialogue that's based on revisionist history."

"That story about Kevin in Las Vegas and Britney is completely erroneous," Mark pointed out. He went on to note that his client wasn't "going to stand by and let that story besmirch what he did and his support of her back in the day."

The attorney went on to stress that his client is not going to tolerate continued accusations from Britney. "But when she starts talking about the way things were when Jayden and Preston [Britney and Kevin's kids] were infants that's completely fabricated. Kevin is not going to let that stand by and let that be the portrayal of fact."

Britney dropped the bombshell revelation on Thursday, April 21 via Instagram. In a since-deleted post, the "Baby One More Time" singer wrote, "Geez my ex-husband wouldn't see me when I flew to New York with a baby inside me and Las Vegas when he was shooting a video!!!"

"PLAYED IT OFF TALKING AND EATING ICE ALL NIGHT !!!" Britney added. "I swear I like huge pickles and biting down an ice literally every day !!! I was so weird … as the ice hit my tongue I got a text saying, 'If you don't divorce Kevin he will publicly do it to you.' "

Britney later said that she "already knew [her relationship with Kevin] was over" as she "hadn't seen him in a while" at the time. "I had my baby and went out literally 2 times with [Paris Hilton] and it was all over the news like I was a party girl," the 40-year-old singer/songwriter recalled. "Whatever, it's over now and I've made peace with it."

Britney is currently expecting a baby with her fiance Sam Asghari. Upon learning of her pregnancy, Kevin said he "wishes the best" for her. The ex-husband of the pop star, via his lawyer Mark, told NBC News, "He wishes her the best for a happy, healthy pregnancy and congratulates her and Sam Asghari as they plan for the excitement of parenthood together."
