AceShowbiz - According to multiple sources, Britney Spears has finally mended her relationship with her 18-year-old son Jayden James. The news of their unexpected reunion came as a surprise to her former husband and father of her sons, Kevin Federline.
He was reportedly kept in the dark about the developments. "If there has been a reconciliation, it's news to Kevin," Kevin's lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, stated to TMZ.
Although Kevin, 46, maintains regular communication with Jayden, the teen had not mentioned any reconnection with his mother. This seeming secrecy adds a layer of complexity to an already intricate family dynamic.
"Obviously a reconciliation/reunification is somewhat complex and can be a process that takes some time," Kaplan previously explained, adding that Kevin supports the boys having a relationship with their mother.
Before this turn of events, Jayden had relocated to Hawaii with his father and older brother, Sean Preston Federline, but he is now back in California. A source revealed to Page Six that Jayden and Britney "have been spending a lot of time together." Another insider affirmed, "Britney is thrilled to have her baby back. Everything is moving in the right direction."
The relationship between Spears and her sons had been strained for years. Britney's mental well-being was a significant concern, leading to a period of estrangement.
