AceShowbiz - It was Group A Semi-Finals in a new episode of "The Masked Singer" on Wednesday night, November 10. The episode, which featured Bull, Jester, Pepper and Skunk performing in front of the panelists Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger and Robin Thicke, ended with a double elimination.
The first star to hit the stage was Bull, who said in his clue package, "I'm used to being a solo performer, but this is a whole new level of pressure." He also added that he had "a habit of comparing myself to other people, to the point where it can be almost crippling." That night, he sang Lady GaGa and Ariana Grande's "Rain on Me". Among the guesses were Jason Derulo, Billy Porter, Ne-Yo and Usher.
Pepper following it up with some spice. "I kind of had a good girl thing for a long time," she said for her clue package, adding, "The hard thing I've experienced was watching the one I love and care for most facing the unthinkable." That night Pepper performed Harry Styles' "Sign of the Times" and she gave Ken the one-word clue of "train." That made him believe that he knew Pepper's identity. Thinking that Pepper was Sara Bareilles, Ken hit the Take It Off Buzzer. However, host Nick Cannon said that his guess was wrong, so Pepper wouldn't take off her mask just yet.
Later, Jester took the stage to sing "I Am a Man of Constant Sorrow" by Soggy Bottom Boys. "The person who I think is going to get the biggest kick out of this is my wife," he said in his clue package, "We've been together 45 years, but unfortunately, her health isn't what it used to be." The panel guessed Joe Elliott, Elon Musk and Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea.
Rounding out the night was Skunk, who belted out a rendition of "At Last" by Etta James. "I've been told she would want me to portray her in a movie," Skunk said in their clue package, adding, "But honestly, the thing I'm most proud of these days is that my kids get to see me perform on this stage. Their mama still got it!" Mary J. Blige, Faith Evans and Jill Scott were among the guesses.
Nick later announced that the first star to get unmasked was Jester. It was then revealed that Jester was Sex Pistols' Johnny Rotten. "We've only got one life and we must explore all the possibilities and be limited by no one for no reason," Johnny said. The next star to be unmasked was Pepper, who turned out to be Natasha Bedingfield.
