Having collaborated with the 'Blue Skies' crooner on 'A Willie Nice Christmas', the 'Rainbow' singer has been set to team up with him once again to perform 'Rainbow Connection'.

AceShowbiz - Kacey Musgraves will live out a dream at the CMA Awards in Nashville, Tennessee on Wednesday, November 13 when she performs "The Muppet Movie" theme "Rainbow Connection" with Willie Nelson.

The two artists have become good friends and when she asked Willie to perform the track he covered on his 2001 album of the same name, the country music icon was game.

Ironically, footage of Kacey singing the song as a child in a grainy home video went viral on Monday, November 11, and she shared the news with fans via Instagram, writing: "A WILLIE FULL CIRCLE MOMENT."

Musgraves and Nelson previously collaborated on "A Willie Nice Christmas", which featured on the "Follow Your Arrow" singer's 2016 holiday album, "A Very Kacey Christmas".

The pair will be joined onstage at the CMA Awards by co-hosts Carrie Underwood, Reba McEntire, and Dolly Parton, who will open the show with a tribute to the women of country, featuring Sara Evans, Crystal Gayle, Martina McBride, and The Highwomen.

Kelsea Ballerini, Lindsay Ell, Maddie & Tae, Ashley McBryde, Carly Pearce, Garth Brooks, Blake Shelton, Brooks & Dunn, and Thomas Rhett will also perform, while Lady Antebellum have lined up a special collaboration with Halsey.
