See Gomez finding herself in an 'unfortunate' situation as she, Bill Murray, Adam Driver, Tilda Swinton, Chloe Sevigny and more face zombie invasion in the horror comedy movie.

AceShowbiz - "The greatest zombie cast ever disassembled" in the first trailer for "The Dead Don't Die". Shared by Focus Feature, the video shows a zombie apocalypse that hits a small town of Centerville, where characters played by the likes of Selena Gomez, Bill Murray, Adam Driver, Tilda Swinton and Steve Buscemi live.

Murray, Driver and Chloe Sevigny play sheriffs in town who first notice the strange death of people around the neighborhood. "This is really awful. Maybe the worst thing I've ever seen," Chief Cliff Robertson (Murray) says after examining the victim.

Looking horrified, Sevigny's character asks in a shaky voice if wild animals did the murder. But officer Ronald Peterson (Driver) has a different theory, saying, "I'm thinking zombies... You know, the undead. Ghouls." Robertson seems to be doubting his junior's opinion, but Peterson is later proven to be right.

As reports of the flesh-eating zombies spread, Gomez's Zoe bans her friends from making a joke out of it. "Don't joke. It's really, really creepy," she tells them. In another scene, she acknowledges how "unfortunate" the situation is.

Swinton plays a mortician who, with her skill in using katana, is confident in her "ability to defend" herself against the undead. While the sheriffs patrol the streets to fight the roaming zombies, they notice that the ghouls "gravitate towards things they did when they were alive." Peterson additionally predicts that "this isn't going to end well," which is quite obvious considering how things have turned out in the sneak-peek video.

Boasting an all-star cast that also includes Danny Glover, Caleb Landry Jones, Rosie Perez, Iggy Pop, Sara Driver, RZA, Carol Kane, Austin Butler, Luka Sabbat and Tom Waits, the horror comedy flick is directed and written by Jim Jarmusch. It is produced by Carter Logan and Joshua Astrachan, and eyes a June 14 release date in the United States.
