Michael 'Mike D' Diamond and Adam 'Ad-Rock' Horovitz will be taking the stage in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania as well as Brooklyn, New York in April for the gigs dubbed 'Beastie Boys Story'.

AceShowbiz - The surviving members of the Beastie Boys are set to unveil a special live show directed by frequent collaborator Spike Jonze.

Rappers Michael 'Mike D' Diamond and Adam 'Ad-Rock' Horovitz have announced a trio of dates for the "Beastie Boys Story", which will be staged in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on April 5 and in the band's native Brooklyn, New York on April 8 and 9 .

It's not clear what the shows will entail, but they are likely linked to the duo's recently-released autobiography, "Beastie Boys Book".

The massive memoir, which hit retailers in October (2018), featured photos, original illustrations, a cookbook, a graphic novel, a map of Beastie Boys' New York, and mixtape playlists.

They also recruited a collection of famous fans to read extracts for the audiobook release. Among those to contribute included Pulp star Jarvis Cocker, Amy Poehler, Will Ferrell, and Bette Midler, as well as Snoop Dogg, Ben Stiller, Chloe Sevigny, Nas, and Steve Buscemi.
