AceShowbiz - The party to celebrate country music stars and their achievements is on in Nashville. The star-studded event was kicked off on Wednesday night, June 7 with the celebrity guests hitting the red carpet, which was actually gray in this case.
Carrie Underwood literally shone in a sheer, glimmering top and a mini skirt. She teamed up the clothes with matching clutch and silver strappy heels. The "American Idol" alum was tapped to perform with Keith Urban at the event.
Keith Urban came to the show with his wife Nicole Kidman. The two wore matching black ensembles, with the actress showing some skin in a black gown with sheer panels. The pair put on romantic display on the red carpet as Urban whispered sweet nothing into the "Big Little Lies" star's ear.
Jada Pinkett Smith was another actress who made the night merrier. The "Gotham" star looked feminine in a purple dress with floral accents across the front part. She put on matching eye shadow and sported simple hair do.
Miranda Lambert opted for a simpler look in a little black dress, with silver embellishments to add a touch of glamor. She came with her beau Anderson East, who teamed his black shirt with brown suit and pants.
Kelsea Ballerini turned heads in a white cut-out dress which showed some skin, while Kellie Pickler wowed in a red and gold Georges Chakra gown. Reba McEntire kept it simple and classic in a black pantsuit. Katherine Heigl, who accompanied her husband Josh Kelley, was glowing in a red dress.
The night also saw some stars flaunting their baby bumps on the red carpet. Jason Aldean and wife Brittany Kerr stepped out just weeks after announcing that they're expecting. Aldean stayed true to her country root in a jacket, jeans and a cowboy hat, while Kerr put on a stylish maternity style in a cleavage-baring dress.
Thomas Rhett also brought along his pregnant wife Lauren Akins, who was glowing in a green dress. Florida Georgia Line's Tyler Hubbard and wife Hayley also came to the event shortly after announcing their baby news. The mom-to-be concealed her barely-there baby bump in a white belted jumpsuit complete with a plunging neckline.
