Celebrities took to social media to share their opinion on the legalization of same-sex marriage in the United States on Friday, June 26. Among those who shared their joy over the ruling were Miley Cyrus, Ellen DeGeneres and Harry Styles.

Miley shared on Instagram a video of herself saying, "June is Pride month and there are plenty of reasons to be proud. Visibility is an all time high and we finally achieved nationwide marriage equality. F**k yeah!" She ended the video with a blowing kiss. Ellen posted a photo of a rainbow flag along with caption, "#LoveWon," while Harry tweeted, "Huge day for America.. Happy to see the news. All the love."

Other celebrities like Ian McKellen, Derek Jacobi, Kate Hudson, Joe Jonas, John Legend, Chrissy Teigen, Raven-Symone and Anna Kendrick also celebrated the marriage equality ruling.

Ian and Derek recorded a video of them wearing the same black tee, with the words "The Stonewall Inn New York" written on it, pouring colored paper and saying, "Well done Supreme Court." Kate wrote on Instagram, "A beautiful long overdue victory and a day to celebrate. The U.S. Supreme Court ruled that the constitution guarantees a nationwide right to same-sex marriage. #Equality #LoveWins." Joe, meanwhile, tweeted, "GO AMERICA!"

John wrote on Twitter, "Very happy about the SCOTUS rulings this week! Marriage Equality, Fair Housing and Affordable Health Care!" while his wife simply posted a picture of a man waving a rainbow flag. Raven shared a picture of Supreme Court's ruling along with caption, "#iwokeuplikethis #amazingamerica #lgbt #love #freedom IM PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN!!!" Anna, meanwhile, tweeted, "Today is beautiful."
