The Weeknd, Alicia Keys Added to BET Awards Line-Up

AceShowbiz - More performers for the 2015 BET Awards have been revealed. ET reports that The Weeknd and Alicia Keys become the latest act to be enlisted to perform during the ceremony scheduled to air live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, June 28 at 08:00 P.M.

There's still no official word on what song The Weeknd will perform. He is nominated for three awards at this year's ceremony, including Best Male R&B/Pop Artist, the Centric Award and the Coca-Cola Viewers' Choice Award for "Earned It" from the "Fifty Shades of Grey" soundtrack.

As for Keys, this will be her first performance since giving birth to her son Genesis in December. She's currently working hard with her husband Swizz Beatz and Pharrell Williams on a new album to follow up her 2012 record "Girl on Fire".

The Weeknd and Keys join previously-announced performers like Chris Brown, Kendrick Lamar, Nicki Minaj, Meek Mill and Big Sean. The upcoming awards show will also see Janet Jackson receiving the first-ever Ultimate Icon: Music Dance Visual Award. Breezy, Ciara, Jason Derulo and Tinashe are set to honor the singer with a special dance tribute.
