While 1D is a no-show, the former Jonas Brothers member has an 'unbelievable' night as he gets drenched with green goo after collecting his prize.

AceShowbiz - One Direction and Nick Jonas were among the champions in music category at the Kids' Choice Awards over the weekend. The British boyband who just lost one of their members, Zayn Malik, won Favorite Group. Unfortunately, the boys were absent from the event.

Nick who hosted the Nickelodeon prize-giving show was voted Favorite Male Singer, beating Bruno Mars, Justin Timberlake, Pharrell Williams, Sam Smith, and Blake Shelton. The former Jonas Brothers got slimed after accepting his trophy from Jennifer Lopez.

"What an unbelievable Kids Choice Awards! I had so much fun hosting! And performing! And winning an award! Thank you so much! I love you guys," the ex-Disney star tweeted after the show. Also getting drenched with the signature Kids' Choice Awards green goo were Shawn Mendes, Sarah Hyland, and 5 Seconds of Summer.

The top music prize, Favorite Song of the Year, went to "Bang Bang", a hit collaboration by Jessie J, Ariana Grande, and Nicki Minaj. It pushed aside Meghan Trainor's "All About That Bass", Katy Perry's "Dark Horse", Iggy Azalea's "Fancy", Taylor Swift's "Shake It Off", and Grande's "Problem".

Rounding up the movie winners are Selena Gomez as Favorite Female Singer and Fifth Harmony as Favorite New Artist.
