AceShowbiz - The first wave of performers has been announced for the 50th annual Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards. Country music husband and wife Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert are tapped for the prize-giving ceremony which is set for Sunday, April 19.
They are joined by the likes of Garth Brooks, Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban, Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Dierks Bentley, Jason Aldean, Florida Georgia Line, and New Artist of the Year nominees Sam Hunt, Thomas Rhett, as well as Cole Swindell.
Last year's Entertainer of the Year winner George Strait is expected to debut his new song while Reba McEntire is scheduled to make her first ACM performance in five years. Shelton and Bryan will host the prestigious event live from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX.
