People's Choice Awards 2012: 'Deathly Hallows II' Is Biggest Winner in Movie

While 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II' grabs four trophies that include Favorite Movie kudo, Johnny Depp and Emma Stone won the awards for Favorite Movie Actor and Actress respectively.

AceShowbiz - "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II" has successfully become the biggest winner in movie field at People's Choice Awards 2012. The final installment of the famous wizard boy film series has grabbed four gongs, including the coveted Favorite Movie prize. The other three, meanwhile, were Favorite Book Adaptation, Favorite Action Movie and Favorite Ensemble Movie Cast.

Trailing behind "Deathly Hallows II" at the January 11 prize-giving event were Johnny Depp and Emma Stone who collected two trophies each. In addition to Favorite Movie Actor kudo, Depp took home Favorite Animated Movie Voice award for voicing the titular character in "Rango". As for Stone, the "Easy A" actress bagged the prizes for Favorite Movie Actress and Favorite Comedic Movie Actress.

Other winners in movie included Adam Sandler who won the Favorite Comedic Movie Actor award, Hugh Jackman who grabbed the Favorite Action Movie Star trophy, and Ryan Reynolds who nabbed the Favorite Movie Superhero award. Robert Pattinson and Reese Witherspoon's romantic film "Water for Elephants", meanwhile, was named the Favorite Drama Movie.

Aside from movie, People's Choice Awards 2012 also honored fans favorite in TV and music. "How I Met Your Mother" dominated the TV field, while Katy Perry and Lady GaGa led the music category.

Being held at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, 2012 PCAs was hosted by Kaley Cuoco of "The Big Bang Theory". The show was attended by big names like Miley Cyrus, Ian Somerhalder, and "The Hunger Games" stars, Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth. The performers at the evening were Demi Lovato and Faith Hill.
