Jake returns home for the weekend and reveals to Alan and Walden that he and Tammy broke up amicably. Tammy surprises them by showing up at the door, shouting about wanting to kill Jake. She forces Jake to admit to Alan and Walden that he cheated on her with her 18 year old daughter Ashley. Ashley arrives at the house to come to Jake's aid, but her 50 year old ex-boyfriend arrives shortly thereafter to try and win her back. They all engage in a messy, confrontational Jerry Springer-esque showdown. When Tammy breaks away from the group to get a drink, Walden convinces her to let Jake and Ashley date if it makes them happy. Tammy decides to give them her blessing, but she changes her mind when Jerry intervenes by proposing to Ashley who gleefully accepts. Alan comforts Jake while Walden and Tammy end up sharing a kiss.
