IDENTITY THEFT LEADS TO HOMICIDE - When a young corporate executive is shot to death the living room of his upscale brownstone, Detectives Briscoe (Jerry Orbach) and Green (Jesse L. Martin) discover the victim recently lost his job and was living off of a mysterious deposit of $400,000 to his savings account. Following the money trail, the detectives discover their prime suspect to be an elderly Harlem man whose identity was stolen by the victim in order to steal thousands of dollars. Lorraine Toussaint ("Any Day Now") reprises her roles as defense attorney Shambala Green in the episode.
