While on a boat trip off the coast of Eritrea with a few of his girlfriend Parker's Peace Corps friends, Auggie takes the opportunity to propose. But unfortunately for the couple, the romance comes to a swift end. As it turns out, he remote waters of the Red Sea aren't just a perfect proposal setting-they're also a great place for a kidnapping.
When Annie receives a mysterious call from Parker's cell phone, she knows something is up, and shares her concerns with Lena. The CIA soon confirms that Auggie and the three Peace Corps volunteers are being held for ransom by Somali pirates, and much to Joan's chagrin, Lena is assigned to run point on the operation to secure their release.
While Joan and Lena battle it out for supremacy and Annie tries to anticipate her friend's next moves, Auggie manages the hostage situation on the ground and comes clean to Parker about working for the CIA. His new fiancee is not thrilled to find out he's been keeping the truth from her, but his skills certainly come in handy when negotiations head south and it becomes clear that the only way to survive is to make an escape.
