Wine of the Week: 2008 Casa Barranca Pink Moment Rosé, Santa Barbara County - Kitty will be starting treatment for her Lymphoma and this calls for a wine that makes you feel good and takes you away, if only for a moment. Strawberries, rose petals, and rhubarb are some of the notes in this fine Santa Barbara county offering from Casa Barranca. This wine, in the dry style of its European counterparts, reminds us of summer in the French countryside. Though some say rose is a warm weather wine, dreams of warm weather 'from France with love' when you're feeling cold is sometimes the best remedy!

Sarah regales Kitty with tales of her Paris trip in an attempt to distract her from her chemotherapy treatment. Once upon a time, Sarah Walker got lost while looking for a vineyard. She stops at a farm with a big old barn where she meets a guy. A French guy. Which may explain why the opening credits logo for this episode reads: freres & soeurs.

The French guy, Luc (guest star Gilles Marini, who you may remember as the Season 8 runner-up on Dancing with the Stars), offers to take Sarah to the winery she's searching for, but they get a little sidetracked. Luc sketches portraits of Sarah as they picnic. Then he puts down his pad and strokes Sarah's leg. Soon they are engaged in a passionate kiss and rolling around the fields of France. Remember how we said Sarah was trying to distract Kitty? Well, judging by the wistful look on her face, we're going to say…mission accomplished.

On her last day in France, Sarah says she was out for a walk when she caught Luc kissing another woman outside the barn where they first met. Kitty puts the brakes on her story, as it seems all too familiar. Sarah's been telling her the plot of a French movie their mom used to love when they were kids. Busted!

In addition to all his first year med school duties, Justin tries to join a cancer research team. Later, he butts heads with his boy genius lab partner, Carter, who asks their professor to switch partners. Justin's prof tells him that he can't take on too much his first year because, if he fails, nothing good comes of all that work. As for Carter, the prof wants them to stay together so Justin can teach the boy how to get along with others. Looks like life with Doogie goes on.

Nora joins Holly and Rebecca as they check out possible wedding venues. The first place they visit is a lovely estate that doubles as a filming location for adult movies. The women opt not to hold the ceremony there even after the rental agent offers to throw in free valet. Come on, ladies, porn or no porn, free valet is free valet!

Rebecca is frustrated because Holly seems to be spending more time on the phone than helping her hunt for the perfect wedding locale. She's trying to close a deal with a juice broker to create their cheap blend of wine. Holly eventually gets the deal done and meets Rebecca at another location, leaving her cell phone behind. Holly tells a story of Rebecca's childhood that triggers memories of her playing make-believe on a little island. Rebecca now knows where she should get married: Hawaii!

Kevin wants Robert to have Kitty to make a public appearance to show that she supports her husband's decision to continue to his run for governor. Robert is vehemently against it, not wanting to use his wife in such a way. Kevin believes he's deliberately trying to sabotage his own campaign.

Kitty confronts Kevin about Robert's sagging polls and they conspire to get things back on track. Kitty does a TV interview behind her husband's back where she says Robert must continue to fight his battle as much as she must fight hers. Robert and Kitty have a heart-to-heart where she tells him that he never gives up. So why start now. That's seems to do the trick. Looks like they will both be fighting the good fight.

Sarah is listening to Kitty's interview while thumbing through sketches that look a lot like the portraits that supposedly fictional French guy was drawing. We flashback to Sarah's last day in France. Luc is outside the barn, as he was before, but this time he's alone. Sarah's cell phone rings. It's Nora telling her the news of Kitty's illness. There was no other woman. Sarah left Luc behind so she could get back home to her sister.

There's a knock Sarah's door. The man on the other side says he's lost. We would think so. After all, he's a long way from France!
